Don't forget Rayman is available digitally through the eshop and those sales don't show up here (I don't believe they are released in the xbox and ps3 stores at the same time as retail). I know many are against digital downloads because of the account system thing but I buy all my games through the eshop, so the WiiU would have definitely sold the most by far if you include that.
I quite liked the japanese voices, felt like everyone was japanese and I just ad the translations. Such a great game though, I had no idea what to expect when I started playing but I couldn't stop playing after a few hours into it.
You do realise that the WiiU essentially creates video in real time already? That is what is sent to the gamepad. It would certainly be feasible to also store this to internal storage with a system update, if they really wanted to.So I don't think it needs the oomph of the ps4 or xboxone to be able to do store the last 15 of a game. (if the game isn't using the gamepad for other things)
If they are planning a price cut, they can't tell anyone about it too far in advance. This is true for any product, and they will deny price cuts until the time they appear, otherwise sales until the price cut will vanish.
I would not be surprised to see some sort of price cut or new bundle around the launch of the new consoles.
Not releasing a game because of multi-platform support is bad business. Even if the WiiU has only a few million sales, those owners are clearly looking for more games and are much more likely to buy this now than in september.
Also releasing the same month as huge releases like GTAV is just beyond stupid.
So, this smells of MS or Sony telling Ubisoft they can release it on their console only if it is released at the same time as the WiiU. That is the only sensible business reason as to why a company would do this. Pretty sure this done a lot in this business.
I barely touch physical PC games anymore because of Steam. Only occasionally do I get collectors editions because of the STUFF. I often buy a digital copy too though, as that is more convenient.
For the WiiU I have bought all my games online, and plan to do so in the future. No need to find out the shops don't have something in stock yet, or they sold out, and I can change games easily from the menu without needing to change discs.
So glad they got this part right for the WiiU, surprised to see Nintendo is the first console maker to do so, never really expected it from them!
I am assuming it is because of some "bad" words in various languages being allowed or something. Or something which Nintendo decided would be offensive to Europeans.

Re: New Wii U System Update Goes Live Across Europe, North America and Japan
Yeah, I hope they let the Gamepad work as a classic controller at some point. I really want to play Xenoblade on the gamepad only

Re: Nintendo Download: 8th August (Europe)
Still no sign of Megaman X in europe sadly. Confused as to why we don't have it yet
Re: Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths Coming To Wii U and 3DS This October

Re: Nintendo Download: 20th June (Europe)
@MilesVor I really was hoping to see Megaman X this week too. Seems like it might never be released at this rate.
Re: Reaction: The Rayman Legends Delay Is a Low Blow, But The Apocalypse Isn't Here
Well I was going to buy it, since it seemed fun and there aren't many wiiU games coming out till later this year.
But for me now, this will just get lost in the noise.
