@AlexanderDaniels Horrible localization is part of the charm here. Many PS1 RPGs, including the Suikoden games, at least in Europe, seemed to have been translated by early iterations of Google Translate.
Star Ocean 2 demo for me. Finally getting to play this game, and in this utterly beautiful remake, is a gift. I remember seeing a promotional video in a Play Magazine demo CD decades ago, loving it, and then learning it wouldn't make it to PAL regions. Justice, finally
Nintendo has always had this gimmicky approach towards their produts. Think all those funky perepherals, the Wii, Labo, amiibos, etc. I personally find them more an annoyance than anything, being a traditional gamer who only wants to turn the thing on and play. But it's been always mainly about videogames. I just hope this new approach doesn't send them spiralling down in terms of quality or focus.
