@shani Hey guys, I just wanted to address this. Firstly I'm sorry I didn't include the gyro controls in the review. I appreciate that they're not in every Nintendo Switch game, but I find them really hard to use. With that said, I should still have mentioned that they are available in the game. I hold my hands up and apologise for that, it's something that should be in there, you're right.
Personally I don't like gyro controls, I think they get in the way of the game. That's just my opinion, and it's probably because I like my controls to be precise in a first person game. My hands are pretty shaky so that's never the case with gyro controls.
Your comments have shown me how important gyro controls are to the Switch community. I'm going to take this on board moving forward with all of my Switch reviews. Thank you all for reading the review, I really appreciate it.
@RodSD64 It's mainly obvious in the tutorial sections, where the instructions use certain terms but they've been changed in the actual game. I think they're just updates that have been made over time but not reflected in that one small part of the game. It really doesn't distract form the gameplay, the size of the text is a bit of an issue though.
@Shinnos To me the original console feels like it's going to fall apart in your hands because the Joy Cons might detach. The Switch Lite doesn't have this issue, and in the case of SuperEpic, it adds to the experience.
@clvr The second dungeon in Sparklite? That's the real test point for the game, if you can, keep pushing through because it gets easier, or at least feels it, after that, and the it's a great game, well worth completing.
@Chunkboi79 Really it is worth a try if you're exhausted with roguelites. It's very different to any other game in the genre I've come across, just enough that's fresh to make it feel fun, even if you've just played through a roguelite.
@clvr That could happen with this game, the first two bosses are the hardest, apart from the final one. But once you've got the knack of what you need to do to kill a boss, as in step back and think about the mechanics, similar to Dark Souls, then it's like you can see the code of the game.
@John_Deacon I get where you're coming from. Sparklite manages to avoid this because it still has distinct zones for you to explore. It's hard to get across, but it genuinely feels totally different to all the other roguelites I've played.
@Tandy255 Sparklite definitely feels a lot like those levels. The Zelda gameplay is mixed up more and enhanced by the fact that the world changes every time you drop down to it.
@Rebusmind I would agree, but whilst reading it back to myself I really had to battle between 8 and 9. It ended up as an 8 because the issues really do let it down to that point.
@Anti-Matter I don't doubt it. I think I don't see the problem because it never detracted from the gameplay if that makes sense? So in Deadly Premonition Origins there is a huge frame rate drop when you enter the main area of the map, it slows everything down, and that pulled me out of what I was doing. With Override, I never noticed the FPS drop enough at the time for it to pull me out of my experience.
@somebread Personally I didn't notice the frame rate drop much. The action on screen is always so big that you generally can't focus on anything else. When there's a lot going on stuff slowed down a little, but for the most part it's a solid port.

@clvr Oh! Haha! My bad, well I've said what needed saying anyway. Maybe you'll come back to it one day.

@gcunit the music is one of my biggest highlights of the entire game.

@NintendoByNature If you're going away over Christmas, this is the game to download and play whilst avoiding family.
