Did you guys even read what Miyamoto said? Mario 64 WAS boring. BEFORE he changed it, it was boring. He never said the final released game was boring. Super Mario 64 was NOT boring. It was awesome.
I don't understand why they didn't do this from the beginning. Where I first heard of a controller with a screen in it, my first thought was multiplayer games where each player sees their own stuff, instead of split-screen like in Mario Kart for console games. There's a lot of potential for games where the other person can't see what's on your controller screen.
So is this based on the four classical elements? (Water, Air, Earth, Fire) I've always like that concept, but this seems like just another generic puzzle game to me. But I look forward to hearing more about the gameplay; I may change my mind.
But they need to keep making casual games to keep the casuals interested in buying their stuff. Casuals aren't fans; if they find something cheaper and better and on the iPhone they're not going to go for a 3DS. Nintendo can't rely on the casual market as much anymore.
I have no doubt they'll eventually put the Ambassador games on the eShop. They've already done the work of porting them, and they'd make plenty of money off of it.

I like the 3D effect in this game, but not everyone will like it.
Re: Reggie: "Mobile Games Would Go Against Our Beliefs"
@shingi_70 "Mobile" as in cell phone. Like, iPhone games.
Re: WayForward Working on Shantae for 3DS Virtual Console
@ImDiggerDan Yep. They're looking into putting Toki Tori on VC, and they're also making Toki Tori 2, for Steam and possibly eShop.

Re: Kid Icarus, Kirby Getting 3D Classics Makeovers
@daznsaz It's pretty lengthy for a NES game. The GBA game "Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland" was a remake of this.
Re: The Rolling Western
It's apparently now called "Dillon's Rolling Western" and will be released on the Japanese eShop in February 2012.

@Zach Oh. I didn't know that was one of those words that's spelled differently in the UK. Never seen it like that before.
Re: Blue Wii Heads Down Under with Donkey Kong In Tow
No Gamecube compatibility, though. So it's still a broken Wii they're trying to sell for full price if you ask me.
Re: Review: Brunswick Pro Bowling (3DS)
Not to be the grammar nazi here, but... "maneuvering."
