I'm not really involved with the Mega Man fanbase, so I don't know, but didn't the creator (Inafune, I think it was?) intend for X5 to be the last game and then Capcom continued it anyway and fans resent them for that or something?

Then they changed their minds, I guess. Because when the Porcupine was introduced, the developer kept saying "He's a nice guy, really!" like five times. He also says "he doesn't mean to hurt anyone" and says that his main characteristic is "easily scared" just as the Bubblefrog was "blind enthusiasm."

And Toki Tori is a Game Boy Color game, not a WiiWare game. The WiiWare version was just a remake. You guys always make it sound like it originated on WiiWare. Yes, it was on WiiWare, but that's like saying Ocarina of Time is a 3DS game.

You got Porcupine completely wrong. He's not angry. The developers emphasized over and over that he was a timid creature. When Toki Tori stomps, he gets scared and runs forward with his spikes out in a panic. He's not malicious.

This just goes to show that Nintendo really doesn't have any clue what fans actually want.

FYI, that site is not a reliable source. Sure, they have a lot of genuine trivia, but there's also a lot of baseless rumors, fan speculation and other fake stuff that's stated as fact.

I like how they keep saying this is the first time ever a sequel has been made. I guess Pokemon XD never happened. And Gold/Silver were sequels to Red/Blue, story-wise. Gold/Silver were even called "Pokemon 2" in the beta.

Update: CVG claims that Nintendo Power may go digital, and a final decision has not been reached yet (although considering Hoffman's tweet I think it's safe to say the print magazine is dead.)

The only game I'm planning on buying digitally is Animal Crossing, because that's the sort of game you play a little every day. My other AC games went to weeds because I got tired of switching cartridges all the time. If they announce a 3DS WarioWare or something similar I might get that digital too. But other games I'd rather have the physical copy.
