@Big_Round_Robin could be a typo but Eurogamer has it coming out on Switch 2 with no mention of Switch. Has this been confirmed for Switch or is there a twist that’s current gen only?

@jfp Thanks. I probably won’t both then. Already have it on PS5 at 60fps etc. would have liked it on Switch 2 but seems a big downgrade. Have you got it? How does it play?

@canaryfarmer it’s up on the store now. I would need to know more about the performance before pulling the trigger. I do love the trilogy. The first game seems an awkward port according to reviews though.

@purple_shyguy 100% agree but I presume Konami are making more money this way. EFootball Kick Off! is a bit of a return to form and the most unexpected and nicest surprise in gaming for me in a while. I do think eFootball could easily sell Master League DLC on the core version too.

I’ve played this for a couple of hours now. Absolutely incredible. Anyone out there who is or was a Pro Evo fan… PES is back… on a budget. Really happy.
Tonnes and tonnes of players and leagues albeit only World Tour (Master League lite) and International Cup (World Cup) are the only tournament or cup modes possible. Everything else is one-off match. Hopefully more will be added.
The football in play is sensational.

I’ve got to be honest, the terrible commentary from Beglin et al is a huge part of the PES charm.
Got a £15 voucher from Loaded for £12 (after loyalty points) so I’m paying not a lot for a 60fps PES game with some actual offline modes. Sounds like a win… but we will see!
Can’t wait to play together with my lad later on.

@Fizza it’s insane that ‘human made craft’ is now some sort of premium. I hate how the world has rushed into this AI bubble without thought for consequences. Sometimes society is absolutely rubbish.

@Anti-Matter yes but if one owns it digitally they can still download it. Nintendo presumably no longer make the physical game any more so it is physically delisted albeit there is a big second hand market.

@darkswabber after I started this gen with Series S (RIP) I went all digital and never looked back. My Switch 2 is all digital. I can’t be bothered to worry about whether a physical edition is coming out, is the whole game on the disc/cart, wait for the post or store all the boxes. I’ve moved on and it’s fine!

@foursider it was a partner direct though. Will be ports mostly.

Hopefully a first party direct is coming soon.

I agree that Switch 2 needs more first party and/or exclusive games. Upgrades with enhanced graphics and frame rates have been welcome but won’t cut it forever. I’m sure Nintendo have got this though!

It is sad that physical game shops are no more, mainly from the human staff perspective. But Ashley’s version of Game in a wardrobe in Sports Direct died years ago.

I’ve gone all digital and haven’t looked back.
