Def agree it's nice to see it end. Been playing smash since i was 10 and now 31. I think its nice to see games come to an end because as we know if it stays around to long it losses that greatness. I have 5 boys 6th on the way and they all enjoy smash.
Same for other games to though like how many halos are we going to get? Its time for that to end and have something better come through.
Sakurai had a great career and owes us nothing. I honestly told myself this was my last smash when this dropped 2yrs ago and same for zelda. It’s time to move on. Life to short to be stuck on the same thing.

Welp this was my last smash game any way. Happy for you sora people! Congrats. Nintendo… i’ve enjoyed you since i was 5 now im 31 with 5boys. None of my sons even touch the switch ages 2,3, 6,11 and im over nintendo. Thanks for the good memories and some enjoyable games!
Ps if you have a xbox and gamepass kindom hearts is free to download. Why pay full price for an old game?….

Dang you switch folk must be financially challenged . Both of my switches are docked to lge8 and e9 55”….. this oled switch isnt a upgrade. Sad ya’ll support nintendo bs gimmicks. Im serious to, you want to upgrade because of a more colorful vibrant screen?
Im reading through alot of ya’ll post and you gents/ladies are making real bull corn excuses to upgrade…. “Oh a bigger screen”.. really?… its only a inch or two.. “The stand on my og switch is crap”…. That justifies spending $350?..
if we wouldn't support nintendo with their bs gimmicks we’d have a very good handheld/console made correctly.
I say we because ive supported them as well. We need to demand better. Theres no excuse as to why nintendo could not have upped the power so we could get 90min max120fps in all their games at 720p-1080p. Their art style in most games does not require 4k so there's no need.
Lets try to do better and make nintendo do better.

This is why i stopped buying nintendo. The constant repetitiveness! How many zeldas are we going to get? Samus? Mariokart? Marioparty? Smashbros? Kirby? Donkey kong? Im 30 now but with 5 older siblings i’ve got to play nes when i was 5yrs old! These games are 20+yrs old!
I have literally witnessed these games being full games at purchase to buying dlc after you bought the game get the full thing.
I remember on smash you did not have to pay for characters! Now they got us idiots paying for them… Im done with nintendo personally they play consistent games with us and we still supporting them because of nostalgia.
Some one please tell me a new nintendo game that rivals god of war? Halo? Gears of war? Spiderman? Final fantasy? Forza horizon4? Sea of theives? Horizon dawn zero?

@NickDaddyCool ahh did not know that wii was compatible! I bought the version that wasnt so my apologies but my statement is 50/50 correct haha. Wiiu that one i forgot that blanked on me. Motion controls weren't that amazing. Theres a reason why It isnt around. Not enough people wanted it. Gyroscope is cool though i’ll give them that but it isnt a make or break feature.

If this comes out I’d be willing to pay 500-1400usd easily as long as it has an oled screen, a dock that has an external gpu of buyers choice rtx or gtx series card, runs games 60-120fps. Hell I honestly don’t play portable at all but I know most Nintendo switch owners play portable Only due to them probably having a crap tv which I can understand being only portable. I have an Lg e8 oled tv which looks amazing! Smash ultimate looks like a new game on that sucker! Being able to play Xbox games on this Alienware ufo would be nice especially with my elite series 2 controller, then I’d have steam games as well. Then other games like anthem, elder scrolls assassins creed, Witcher etc. switch owner ship in my experience is to much compromise on third party games and even on some first party games. All in all there’s a place for both devices! But a place for switch pro nah I’ll have to pass tired of the same games for the past 20-40yrs being respat out.

I personally own three switches 4xbox one x, 2lg oled e8 TVs haha I make good money and I will spend it on good devices. The ufo seems amazing and I’m hoping they bring an egpu with our choice of rtx, gtx cards! And it would be sweet if this comes with an oled screen!

@NickDaddyCool Nintendo isn’t innovative anymore. Putting out the same repetitive games that’s 20-40yrs old isn’t innovative. The switch putting out 500p-1080p with most games going from 20-60fps isn’t innovative. How about switch having an oled screen, putting out 1080p with games running 60-120fps docked at least because that’s really obtainable no Joke. I’ve been with Nintendo since 4yrs old and now I’m 29 yrs old. You wanna know what I’ve noticed with Nintendo?! They’re full of crap and bleed you for money. Answer me this, why is it that every time Nintendo drops a new console..... you have to buy new accessories/games/memory cards all over again?! While pc, Xbox, PlayStation have all been backwards compatible with most if not all accessories/games, controllers/memory cards or ssd for years! You know how much money I’ve spent with Nintendo over the generations buying new accessories, the same game to have on the new console, a memory card etc.That’s not innovative that’s greedy. I enjoy my Nintendo but get off that false idea of Nintendo being innovative. Innovation is the ufo a whole entire pc on the go! Man please that’s awesome, the Apple cell phone is innovation literally a mobile mini pc, phone, camera in your pocket. Not trying to be rude but trying to enlighten you. If you like Nintendo cool but don’t lie for them.

The Nintendo gets hot and has a weak cooling system that’s a fact! The switch analog joy stick feel cheap ass heck that’s a fact! Nintendo switch stand is cheap and down right A crappy Design that’s a fact! Let’s deal with reality here. I own three switches and I tell you what! Alienware nailed this! Alienware right off the bat I noticed a better stand, controller looks much better then that cheap joycon that eventually start coming off without hitting the release button... and copying?! As if homeboy Nintendo doesn’t own a look. Literally there has been other system that have looked like a switch before switch came out. Alienware stated they had been working on this idea for a few years so You don’t know if this design has already been out for them.
