Water-based puzzle game Puddle has been making a splash in the Wii U eShop in Europe since the day the new system launched way back in November. North Americans, meanwhile, had their spirits dampened as they were forced to wait a little while longer for it.
Information seemed to be drying up, but fortunately Neko Entertainment has now come through with the game's release date. The puzzler will be coming to North American shores on 31st January.
Puddle is a taxing puzzle game that sees you use the GamePad's gyro controls to guide a plucky puddle of water through various troublesome levels. The aim is to reach the goal with as much liquid left as possible. Though not without its flaws, we rather enjoyed the game, as we pointed out in our Puddle review.
We're sure North Americans will forgive Neko Entertainment for the delay once they get hold of the game - it's all water under the bridge, right?
Will you be flooding your eShop account with funds to get hold of this one, North America? Let us know in the comments below.

Hah I cant wait been waiting for this since I first got the Wii U. Looks pretty beautiful though I heard the gyro controls were disappointing though I'm still set on getting it but I heard its particularly hard to beat.

I would make the purchase, but my account is totally drained right about now.
Finally! I've nearly completed everything in my Wii U library!
@Alienfish Don't tell me you're caught in the drift of the article, as well
In the grand "stream" of things I see myself "wading" into the eShop to purchase it.
