I saw where somebody modified the timing of the ROM for duck hunt and wrote it back to a cartridge so it worked in an original Nintendo on a modern tv. It’s probably very doable! I think the timing of the flash on the screen just needs to be modified by a fraction of a second to account for the lag.
As far as mouse support, I would hope that they would allow us to use any USB mouse, and not necessarily the original SNES mouse with an adapter. Any mouse should be able to do the exact same thing.
These games are great to have on your system as an option if you’re bored or have kids over. I got a ton of them for free from the QubicGames Christmas promotion where they gave away like 10 games in 10 days (including some of these). A few weeks back my nephew came over and eventually became bored with the real games like Arms, Mario Kart, Luigi’s mansion, etc. He started looking at my backlog of cheap games I never touched and we ended up playing Jumping Joe, Robonauts, and Rekt for hours upon hours. You never know what you’ll find when downloading a free game, sometimes there’s a ton of fun to be had!
According to wb’s response to questions on the listing page of the US Amazon.com, all the data will be on the disc/ game card except for some dlc skins that will be released at a later time, and these are the vouchers they are referring to.
Since this is a Nintendo published game, I don’t think we’re going to be seeing the deep discounts that everyone would normally expect from a game like this. At least not for a long time.
@sdelfin And I’m sure playing it on TV rather than watching it on my tiny phone screen does make a huge difference as well. I probably will give it a whirl because I really do like the art sytle.
@Jimsbo looking back, I guess you’re right. It just all seems way to subtle. This is probably because there is absolutely no reaction by the boss whether you hit them or not until a phase change or the end of the battle. They seem completely unphased by your attack like you’re not even there. You could say the same I suppose for, like, a Megaman boss battle but at least some attacks would slow them down and the flashing was apparent enough to feel like progress.
I love the art style but these boss battles are wayyy too long. I don’t like that you get almost no visual feedback that you’re actually doing any damage to them. It’s like they still follow through with their same animation whether you’re hitting them or not and you don’t get any flashing red or anything indicating that you’re actually doing any damage. It’s like you’re a little kid pelting rice at them for two or three minutes with little to no positive feedback until the announcer finally screams “knock out“.

Re: Poll: Does Anyone Actually Use The Switch Joy-Con Straps?
Another option should’ve been “yes, if kids are involved“. That would’ve been my vote.

You know what’s really sad is something possessed me to play Urban Champion with my nephew the other day and it’s nowhere to be found!

When are we getting Super Punchout since we’re getting all of these sequels?

Re: Hardware Review: Insurrection Industries Carby - GameCube HDMI Support On A Budget
Technically, shouldn’t this work on every Nintendo system SNES thru Gamecube since they all use the same cable?
Re: Despite The Recent Bankruptcy and Layoffs, Retailer Toys 'R' Us Might Be Making A Comeback
I thought I heard someone mention once that TRU may show up as pop up locations in malls at Christmas. That would be an excellent use of the IP.
