Spent six months working at the head office in the website department. I never really liked it. I remember them going close to the wire in 2012 before being bought out. It's amazing they have lasted this long.

If you’re just playing first party games on it, the Switch still holds up really well! Playing most third party games, and it feels like a cheap Android tablet, awful.

@gcunit The RoboCop game for the Amiga came in a box, a 3.5 inch floppy in a box!

Anyway, point is that in that box was a poster of RoboCop, and it went up on my wardrobe door, the Ocean logo was prominent, and I remember it so well! To this day, I associate RoboCop with that game and Ocean Software.

@Folderoll solid choice, I’ve always gone Linux Mint myself.

I’m sitting back and watching this to see what happens. Steam doesn’t have a good track record when it comes to hardware, so I’m not too sure on buying 1st-gen. The ability to install Linux, Windows and emulators makes this easy standout though. It could potentially replace all my gaming hardware, possibly even become a replacement for work hardware. One device to rule them all.

#3 that’s all I care about. I gave up on the first game because of that.

@penfold007 Agreed, EA wouldn’t bother if isn’t wasn’t profitable.

There seems to be more money to make in F2P. The micro transaction revenue is too much to ignore so it wouldn’t surprise me if in the future, 90% of games become F2P and are then filled with egregious micro transactions.

@Anguspuss same. I gave up playing because of that very reason.

If Nintendo releases a patch that makes weapon degradation optional, I’ll pick it up again.

Combination of resistance bands and HIIT via Apple Fitness+. I’ve tried video games fitness stuff before but I’ve never managed to stick with it.

@Slowdive I’m glad you brought up the Chinese connection, something lacking from the vast majority of news reports I’ve been reading on this matter.
