@Csaw I disagree. I think that any stretch goals for overall improvement of the game should always come before ports. Don't get me wrong; I'd love to play Hover on Wii U, but I would settle for PC if it meant a more fully realized game.
I don't understand this decision from Nintendo. I mean, it's awesome and all, but why the DS? I can still easily go down to the store and pick up many- if not all- of the games on this list, then play them on my 3DS. So why not an older system?
@OGGamer Yeah, I'm starting to get used to it. Using the Pro Controller definitely helped, but it's still so weird that they left the triggers completely unused.
I love Monster Hunter Tri. That said, I was disappointed with the demos for Ultimate. I became very accustomed to the Wii Remote/nunchuck controls, and the new controls feel very... bad. They didn't even seem to use the trigger buttons, which would have been great for dodging. Instead you have to awkwardly reach down to the B button every time you dodge. They also overlayed certain buttons, like the run button being the same as the 'weapon specific action' button, which makes no sense when you have unused buttons. I couldn't find a way to switch this in the demo, but I hope I was just being stupid and couldn't figure it out. This game deserves better controls than the ones I just used.
The only reason they made dark and steel type was to balance out the other types so that none would be too strong or too weak. Introducing a new type now would throw everything out of balance again. I'm not saying that this isn't a new type, I'm just saying that a new type would be a bad idea.
Its sad, but I've nothing to complain about. I clocked in at over 500 hours and reached an HR of 117 before calling it quits. I definitely got my 50 bucks out of the game.
I don't disagree with anything in this article, but I do believe Nintendo has more sinister motives behind download-only gaming. They can't make a profit off of used games being resold. You can't resell a downloaded title. Case in point.
@RR529 I'm in the same boat as you: the only other game like this that I've played is SoH II. I bought this game, however, and I haven't been able to put it down! Very addicting, I would absolutely recommend this game.
I loved both 1 and 2, and I don't mind the time limits of the first game. The only problem I had was that the first game was fairly short. I could beat it in 17 days (in-game time) which didn't take long at all. I hope 3 will have more extensive content like 2 had.

**** Ubisoft. You have done a bad thing and you should feel bad. A demo does not a peace offering make.
