@Lanmanna I never said there was no production price or cost of materials. But the extreme amount they overcharge is just absurd. If that was truly the case then every physical game printed would have sky rocketed in price by now.
This is what nobody thought about when everybody was so convinced that “Switch Pro” was coming out. You want a portable device that can natively render 4K? The cost on that is going to be sky high. Let alone how you all thought all of the existing games would all of a sudden magically be native 4K also 😆
@ReaperMelia They are still ridiculously overpriced, even at Best Buy. Before you complain “cost of materials,” that is still not a justification of how they regularly charge triple the cost of the game or more.
Limited Run, where each of those stickers will add $49.99 EACH to the price of the game. Then different publishers will release their versions in actual stores while you are left waiting years for LRG to get off their ass and actually send you something. Do not support these pirates.
@GrailUK Ninja Five-O is a huge red flag for me. Of all games for it to be, they just randomly happen to have the most expensive non variant GBA game there is on the secondary market. This just reeks of someone trolling to get everybody worked up for something that will not happen.
Oh god no, another Target promotion. During the last one, I was given every excuse they could think of as for why they could not put them out, so the employees could hoard them all for themselves. They kept on telling me they "scanned" them and the computers said they could not put them out and they used that excuse for weeks after the street date. Not surprisingly, there were sealed stacks of them on ebay, listed close to my location. I even got corporate involved and was assured the cards would be there, but no, they still refused to give them out. I had to liberate a bunch of cards from a different Target near my work in order to hand them out so people in my town actually got some. As a final act of defiance, that same store put out ONE single card, on the very last day, just so they could make an attempt to say they had them out. Target is just simply the worst.

Re: More Details On Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Physical Release Revealed
@Magrane
Oh no, Limited Run goes FAR beyond the cost of materials. Secondly, yes, when they are selling a $5 game for $70-80+, that is ***** ridiculous.

Re: Random: Someone Just Sold An Early Copy Of Super Mario Party On eBay For $7,100
Most likely this seller will never get paid. Either the buyer never comes through, or he does get paid, and buyer files a chargeback later on.
