Re: Delivery Issues Spoil Nintendo Switch Launch Day for Unlucky UK Buyers

And to answer your question, I started drinking ahead of time to have a buzz when the system arrived so yes I could enjoy playing it more. My nephew drove over to test it out with me, by the time it was 8pm I was a bit turnt up with nada on my door step. You seem a bit sarcastic, Try it sometime, it can be fun. Just don't make the same mistake I made, and make sure you are 100% positive the game is going to show up at your door step. Otherwise the drinking is pointless!

I'm in the US, I pre-ordered through Gamestop and I didn't get my Switch yet.. Now it's due monday. They refunded me the $15 I paid to get it on the release date, but this is still bitter sweet. I gave UPS customer service every curse word in the book. Normally i wouldn’t be so pissed but I planned my day off for this, I finally had some alone time (my girlfriend worked late), and I got stupid drunk just because i was counting on playing BOTW. There is food all over the walls and I have a feeling it isn’t because i was happy. First time I pre-ordered anything online.. Never again. Now I shall wait 'til monday after work. Thanks for screwing things up, Gamestop!

I traded in my Xbox one for a switch. Found myself just playing call of duty and titanfall on it, occasionally trying a Rare game.. Noticed all of the better exclusives are coming out on the ps4. Unless Scorpio changes things around and gets meaningful support, I don't feel like spending $400+ on it will be necessary.. And I'm still waiting on my switch to be delivered.. I guess my pro controller and console were in seperate UPS trucks :/
