@ManaOwls I think its being skipped that Nintendo didn't need to further innovate on the model as it had proven wildly successful AND even set a standard for what portable gaming could be
The biggest thing Nintendo needed to do was get their own hardware up to an acceptable bar so it can equally showcase 3rd Party and 1st Party titles on par with the other systems
Double Innovating could have led to another Wii U fiasco, where shoppers couldn't inherently tell that the system was an "improvement" over the previous one. Now its obvious, and the sales will be even stronger
I think the innovation will come from the gameplay in titles down the road, now that extra features are available, and doesn't need to be the system itself

Honestly, really need to see some screenshots on this. Eventually game will go on sale for physical, and need to know if it's worth it
