Re: Nintendo Reminds Us It's Not Ready To Announce The "Switch Successor"

Chadbury

@Arawn93 exactly. I have a coworker who was ranting about how Nintendo has been teasing the switch 2 for years with no information.

No, they have been saying "the Switch isn't anywhere near done yet, stop asking" until very recently. People have been "leaking" that the switch 2 was coming out for like the last 5 years. People are just so mindless that they instantly believe any article they read. It must be frustrating to be a company and have some random person say things and it makes you the bad guy when he isn't right.

@Raifteiri I'm not arguing against any of that. It's very likely that the next Nintendo console will be announced soon, but people have been writing the exact same trash articles about it for genuinely 5 years. Just stop speculating and wait for an announcement. At this point it's just sad and misinformed. There's genuinely no argument for writing about some things that some kid said might happen. These insiders have proven that they simply don't know about this topic for years now. This is just a waste of everyone's news feed.

"All signs point to a 2024 release." Offers literally zero evidence to support a 2024 release aside from rumours that have been circulating for OVER 5 YEARS! Why can't we just read the interview without this pathetically biased interpretation. Why do we have to keep perpetuating rumours? Just wait until somebody who matters gives us some actual insight.

Nobody in the gaming media has ever heard about what happens when you assume...

Re: Soapbox: I Never Completed Breath Of The Wild, And I Never Will

Chadbury

This is wildly stupid. My first "run" of botw, I did zero shrines. I completed the divine beasts and then finished off Ganon. I then completed all the shrines and sidequests. Then a year later, I played it again. Most recently, I watched my 6 year old play it all the way through and enjoyed every moment of it. How does finishing a final boss, signify the end of the adventure in anyway? What a ridiculous article. So tired of these attention grabbing garbage pieces.
