I was always planning to play this back in the day, but never got round to buying it. I did buy and 100% Xenoblade, though, which was a great title. Of the three, though, Pandora's Tower didn't particularly appeal to me as much.
@EarthboundBenjy I remember reading about all of what you described on Wiki, though I only played the ps1/DSi versions myself. Even the DSi has a couple of different levels in Band Land where you walk along a floor instead of sliding levels. I don't think I'd be particularly excited unless it has what you described, with basically all the levels on a new super large branching map. The game is truly a classic and deserves at least that.
Already have or know about most of these. I'd second Unpacking, my son chose it and I gave it a shot after him, thinking I'd be bored and never finish it. I finished it and enjoyed it all on ps5, getting the platinum even. It's one of those wholesome games that can make your mind fill in any blanks. I even imagined what might be outside of each window.
@BaldB3lper78 It sounds ridiculous when you take it out of context, but this hair movement was one of the things that people knew the game for when it came out on PC. It was a benchmark game around 2013/14 because of this. As for me, it's not a big deal, but foliage density is something that does always get noticed if it's too stripped back. Also, I'm not sure what they mean by dialled down cutscenes, perhaps explosions because there were quite a few in the game and I guess that would feel a bit less epic.
I do like the European version (I have that box myself in the attic as I swapped for a small old school carry case I added a "Super Nintendo" iron om patch to), but the game logos on the USA version are cool. Over all, though, Japan's minimalist and key art approach wins. Also, I may or may not have mine modded with 200 multiplayer games that I sifted through a while back... Some also may or may not have been patched with romhacks. If I did though, I would definitely say it is a fantastic couch co-op experience I can simply run through my TV's USB. I really feel the console should have come with more 2 player games.
I bought a 360 with a steering wheel to play the slightly better graphics version, but it was a bit too hard to complete using the wheel. Great experience, though. I've completed the game 4 times now.
@Bunkerneath Trophies are only there to show off or for devs to add content where there isn't any. Pointing to some Easter eggs through tophies is cool, but the rest are a waste of time and just prevent you from playing your next game if you care enough to finish the list. I've stopped looking at them on PS now.

Re: Surprise! Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition Has Been Rated
@Greatluigi Yeah, Rayman 3 was sadly largely abandoned after ps3'd HD port. I'd love another crack at it as I never managed to complete that one.

Zelda's Adventure is #1. Change my mind 😤
Re: Community: 32 Switch Games We Missed, As Recommended By You
Why is Wolfstride ウルフ(Urufu) in Katakana??? It should be ワルフ(Warufu... Wolf) or ワォルフ. Seems to me like a poor translation job and another game that wants to appear Japanese when it isn't.
