In the past, games used to be CD 1, CD 2, etc. I think the original FFVII was 3 or 4 CDs.
Couldn't they split a game like this into "package 1", "package 2", etc. that you download as you progress, or even download automatically in the background?
I'm sure there's a good reason why they're not doing this already, but as a non-expert, I wonder.
I'm not particularly good at boss fights but I'm enjoying Silksong most of the time so far. I do eventually manage to beat the bosses.
However, in Hollow Knight whenever I got frustrated with a boss I could go and do something else for a bit. In Silksong, there have been a few times where I could not go back to the rest of the map before beating a particular boss, or where I could not get my stuff back without restarting the boss fight. That I've found frustrating.
I have both a Switch 1 and a Switch 2. If I buy the Switch 2 version, I assume I won't be able to play on my Switch 1. However, if I buy the Switch 1 version and then get the free upgrade, is the game playable on both machines, i.e. do I get to "keep" the Switch 1 version?
There's this PC game from like the mid 90s with viking(ish?) aesthetics where you portalled to various destinations... Kind of looked like Ultima Online, but it was from earlier and most definitely off-line. Can't seem to figure out what it was!

Re: Another Silksong Patch Is On The Way, But Don't Expect More Difficulty Tweaks
@Emacster I have the same issue. Can’t figure out if it’s the game, the joycon, or me.

Re: Hollow Knight: Silksong's Price Has Been Officially Announced
@DangerZone I believe the USD price is pre-tax, whereas prices in GBP and EUR include tax.
Re: Poll: So, How Would You Rate The Nintendo Direct For March 2025?
That should have been an email.
