I don't know if it's busier, but perhaps its that we are 6 years older? I play games differently now I guess. I don't have reflexes and patience that I did 6 years ago, nor time I guess. I have less free time, kids, etc. I played more games 6 years ago, and am spending less. 6 years ago my daughter started college, she recently finished her Master's. Don't get me wrong, this game is great. Although good grief I'm having issues killing Lynels still, and definitely the Gloom hands/Ganon..and the Gleeks. But, I'm determined and will get through it. I will say though, I'm cheesing too many of the shrines I guess. The ones with targets especially..I'm just not doing the way the dev team wanted us to do them...and last night I cheesed my way through three of them simply shooting a bomb arrow. Finally, like others, I'm missing some aspects of the BotW, like the Divine Beasts, where are the remnants? And, I know Zelda ordered all the guardians dismantled, but seriously they GOT EVERY SINGLE ONE? I'm hoping still there is one last guardian out there no one has found.
The durability, I tolerated it. However, I had a thought..."will this game also use a completed save file from BoTW?" It would make it interesting if certain content (just certain quests, not anything that would progress the main storyline or prevent incompletion."
@PBandSmelly All of this. Especially the Funko. I walk into a store, and its a WALL of them. They cram in the three main systems everywhere else. Every other store is selling Funkos, so let them.
So, that was 11 minutes, and a boss fight. Wow, thats a long time for a 4-player coop level. So, if there are a lot of levels, this will make for a fun game. I plan on getting it. Hopefully the release date is before mid-year though, too much longer waiting, unless adding in a few new features we havent been told about, will diffuse the enthusiasm. Also hoping to get a physical copy.
I dont see much replayability in this. Colors are boring, and while I understand the blocky NPC's, its just...boring looking. Perhaps if this was a $5 game. Someone mentioned a demo, but if there was one we would all just play it once and be done with it all. Game needs more work.
So, online 2-player...4-player co-op..but not two player/three-player local co-op? Really? Or am I missing something, and can just select only 2 or 3 players?
Nice management sim type game, however I just dont see many people actually buying this overall. People want portable games on the switch to play with friends. Games like this are fun solo, but to spend this amount of money on a switch game, when this probably could be run on a PC cheap game to sit down...or a mobile game. But, to each their own.
The retro craze is dwindling. There are now multiple retro systems, but its becoming saturated. Kids today dont want to play them, they are born in a different era. The games back then were veery unforgiving, had limited lives, graphics are poor compared to today, and if they are bought up (like the mini-snes, etc) they are played for a little, then forgotten. The atari vcs they keep trying to get excitement for, its already dead on arrival. Its an emulator, try can only do certain retro games, but no one will make games for a 4th, 5th, or more console. The switch is already stressing developmental work with three different consoles, all of which have plenty of money and pedigree. Sony and microsoft will have new consoles this year (from what I'm seeing).

Re: Random: The Latest Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Craze Is Seeing How High You Can Flip A Guardian
Gees...that second shot too! I'm waiting for someone to do the same thing...except freeze lock the guardian, THEN shoot it with an arrow again

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Want To See From Nintendo At E3 2018?
I know I'm one of the very few here that would even mention it...Nintendo Labo kits and new uses.
