@Ralizah They use those haptic pads for mouse control. Steam games use a lot of mouse input. You need those.

@AtlanteanMan I agree. The first one was amazing. When they tried to monetize everything in the second it fell apart. I highly doubt they will bring anything good at this point. I imagine it will be micro-transaction heavy.

I've been on so many "this is it" moments for Metroid that I don't think this one is going to do anything special for the franchise. I just don't see a modern platformer breaking any new ground for the series. They hyped the ***** out of Other M too, and, uh, that didn't go so well.

If you bought a Switch when they came out and mostly just play on your TV or a TV then you don't need the upgrade. Better battery life doesn't do fuq all for your Switch. I am amazed that NintendoLife would recommend getting this new model if there's nothing wrong with your system. Shame on you NintendoLife. For shame.

One of the worst Directs in recent memory. Nothing released today. Games are months or a year off. Only a few niche games announced alongside Zelda. Everyone's excited for Metroid...meh. I don't know, this was a dud. Also, that Mario Party game could just be a DLC for the Mario Party we already have. A whole new game? Eat my whole ass Nintendo. D-

My 8 year old loved this game, but it is SHORT. Like short short. Not worth the $20, but it was great in the Apple Arcade suite.

This was a missed opportunity of the 3DS. I had a VirtualBoy when they came out. The games were fun, but the headache was real. My eyes would hurt after just about ten minutes of play. They should have released the games on 3DS with it's capabilities. I think they would look like ***** on Switch.

Also, this NFT thing really took off with sports memorabilia collectors. So not the sharpest tools in the shed already. I can't believe Sega and Hasbro think this is a good move. It makes them look ***** stupid.

@Clyde_Radcliffe That is such a stupid response. A good game is one you like. Even if it sucks. Home Alone 2 was fun, I played that too. I played all kinds of games that wouldn't hold my attention now. The Noid comes to mind. I played that ***** forever. But I liked it.

This game was obviously made for children. Hence the man babies crying it's not for them so it's bad.

And yet my 8 year old loves it. He has so many options to choose from, and he loves this game. So do the cousins. I didn't want to buy it because the reviews were coming in on the low end, but he begged me for it and I got it for him. Maybe it's time won't last, but these kids love this game.

I'll be getting this just for the Golf game. I really hope Vol. 2 has the soccer game.

Bit Trip Core is good as far as Bit Trip games go. It was the only one I found satisfying on the Wii, the rest kind of suck.

One Strike is really good. Lots of fun.

The rest I've either played elsewhere and they suck or they look like they suck so I haven't tried them.

I've said it before, and people said I was wrong, but this ***** will eventually be $10, and sooner than later. Flash in the pan gimmick that isn't that fun.

More than anything, this shows how poorly we pay those workers. That stealing boxes of Pokemon happy meal boxes is ***** worth the risk. I don't blame them.

Ugh, I am so tired of games built around grinding out levels. That's why I only play WoW now.

My 5 and 8 year old kids are liking the demo A LOT. Target audience might be kids and not 20-30 year old males that live at home.

Final Fantasy without the grind is just a visual novel. The grind is the gameplay loop, and it's fun. It's how you get the gold to get the gear that gets you the girl. It's the meat of the game, and the story and cut scenes are the gravy.

I feel like you don't like RPG's and should just stick to Visual Novels and all their creepiness.

I'm the same. I didn't finish Final Fantasy X,X-2, or XII because I was not ready for them to be over when the time came.

This seems a little half hearted. Like for Super Mario Land, those were the screenshots they felt represented the whole game? They couldn't pick stills from the six different levels or something? It looks like a panorama picture of the first level...

It's their own fault. They never budged on their prices or offered anything to draw people in so they could stay open. Just the same miserable low wage workers keeping it dusty and unwelcoming. Also, and maybe this is just a thing of the past, I never met an employee at one that knew jack ***** about movies.

There were plenty of people back then that weren't racist. A lot of people were, but to assume "he lived a long time ago so it's ok" is extremely stupid.
