The next major release in the LEGO Mario series has seemingly leaked online, giving us an early look at its content ahead of an official reveal. Now's your last chance to look away if you don't want to have the surprise ruined!
A now-removed page on Amazon Australia has revealed the LEGO Super Mario Bowser’s Airship, a fairly large scale recreation of Bowser's iconic transport. It's made up of 1,152 pieces in total and measures 14 inches long; you can either display it in its standard airship pose, or extend it into a longer stage-like design (thanks, VGC).
As noted above, the Amazon listing has already been taken down, but that didn't stop folks on Twitter grabbing and reposting all of the images:
The Airship is an expansion set designed to be used alongside your LEGO Mario or LEGO Luigi figure and the Starter Course – the LEGO Mario featured in the images won't be included. It does include Magikoopa, a Pirate Goomba, and the mole-like Rocky Wrench, however.
It was also recently revealed that ten more character packs are headed our way soon.

Not a LEGO guy, but this is probably the neatest one yet. If they're starting to lean into specific sets from the games instead of generic, build-it-yourself "levels," I hope we eventually get one of Bob-Omb Battlefield for all the people who had been asking for it.
Aargh, that's gonna cost me.
Nice feature to pull the ship apart like that.
No doubt the Wife will be picking that one up for my Birthday in August. I love it. It’ll look ace next to Bowser’s Castle.
Got the Luigi Starter Pack Pre-ordered too a while back, so looking forward to getting that August 1st too & seeing if he interacts with his Brother.
.....That Kamek is legit scary.
Put that up against Mario in a video game and he'll run home crying for his Mama Mia.
"This why i like you. I can get news without clicking on an article. Nintendo life would’ve made this a ten page thesis with a image or Donkey Kong as the preview" - the first twitter reply.
Remember when Lego released non-licensed sets and it was all about the alternate builds!
Considering the Lego Bowsers castle has just a little bit less pieces than this one, it's probably safe to say this will be around the sane price at the castle, so roughly $100(In the US anyway)
Looks very cool, but I will probably pass since my son isn't a fan of these Mario Lego sets.
