You gave too much love to Nintendo for the OK collection of Super Mario 3D All stars but there are some great games on here! Some complained about Switch's 2020, but with the quantity of games on the eshop, I can't imagine ever feeling like there is a lack of games.
This is awesome. I am personally excited but I feel like this is a REALLY niche market in the U.S. Maybe I'm wrong and it will sell super well! I'm kind of surprised they didn't wait to see how the first Saga collection sold.
This is way too much effort for a dated Famicom game! I really appreciate the effort... but who really wants this?
They need to find a happier medium for preservation and celebration of their games. I could make a long list of games that needed a translation and some love way more than Famicom Fire Emblem.
I mean the package looks great... I just can't imagine enjoying a 30 year old Strategy RPG much in 2020.
But it is a super Nintendo move and I kind of love them for it... even if it strikes me as a bit crazy.
I appreciate that these games are here and that Nintendo is considering classic games... but when your service has 1/10 of the functionality of several free emulators... it's not a very convincing sell.
The console gaming industry needs to evolve to be more like the PC gaming industry when it comes to "old" games. Let us buy all the old games at a reasonable price digitally, or just release them as freeware. No one should be asked to pay money for a rom copy of "Ice Hockey". However, charging $3.00 for Super Mario Bros. 3 might be reasonable.
It is so easy to monetize these games in a simple way; there seems to be an actual disease at Nintendo that prevents them from implementing online and legacy content in a sane and pleasing way.
If I want to play Nintendo 64 games, my only option is to purchase them on the Wii U. These purchases afford me far less options than I get emulating them via my own PC. Selling me an inferior product when stealing the superior one is neither risky nor difficult is a ridiculous proposition. Capitalism does not function properly through the "honor system".

Re: Stardew Valley's 1.5 Update Will Feature A New Beach Farm
The existence and continued development of Stardew Valley gives me faith in humanity.

Re: You Cannot Have A Complete National Pokédex In Pokémon Sword And Shield
Good news as far as I'm concerned. The idea of trying to collect 1,000 pokemon is exhausting to me, not fun.

Re: Get Ready For Fantasy Tactical Role-Playing In The Banner Saga On 17th May
Definitely excited to play this. I tried before on my phone, it was too small a screen. This is another series perfect for the Switch.
