Just to make everyone aware,it seems we will be able to play 3 separate 4 hour sessions of Splatfest tomorrow.It allows you to download the demo from the UK,NA and Japanese Eshops and they all run at different times.The Japanese Splatfest runs from 9am to 1pm UK time,the European one runs from 5pm to 9pm UK time and the NA one runs from 11pm to 3am UK time.

Fun for kids that's for sure

Did the original ones come out in the U.S. ever?

Gamestop, the store in the US that used to sell mostly video games but seems to now only mostly Funko Pop figures, had several different Splatoon 2 toys and water guns yesterday. I don't think I saw these though. And none of them show up on the website, where they keep their videogames.

They also had several Zelda BotW amiibo, 1 store even had 2 Wolf Link, another a Guardian. Both had Rider and Archer. For anyone still looking.

@rjejr I was in GS in March for Switch launch day, and it was good old game filled GS. I went in in May when Disgaea released and half the store was apparel and toys. Please get your Macy's out of my Gamestop, thank you.

Actually I only follow one, not even sure how it started, NX rumours I think, and even when she isn't wearing them she's using them as a prop.

@Sam_Loser2 You'll probably find a Japanese online shop where you can import Japanese water to circumvent the region lock.

@shani It seems to be possible. You just need to download the demo from each region. The Japan times suit me perfectly so hopefully it works. Can't see why it won't.

@NEStalgia I think there are almost as many trendy metro-sexual guys wearing fake glasses unnecessarily as there are women these days, Vanity, it's not just for women anymore.

@OorWullie Thanks so much for providing that info, I'll definitely do that! This solves my timing problem and at the same time gives me more time with the demo.
If you like, let me know (maybe in the forums) whenever you start playing during the Japan time slot, maybe we can try playing together (it was a bit fiddly, but it was possible with the old Splatfests).
I think I got you in my Wii U friends list, not sure if I migrated you to my Switch friends as well.

I just tried to download the demo after switching my region to Japan and the Americas, but an error occured every time.
Ah no I get, I have to set up different accounts for every region, not just change the region of my Switch.

Got the Japanese demo! I just realized that the times for the Japanese Splatfest are a bit unfavorable for me since it begins exactly when I pick up my dad from the train station. But I'll still try to make it during those four hours. Otherwise you'll definitely find my playing the US Splatfest.

@shani Not sure I'll manage the NA one, it's 5am to 9am for me. I'm usually up to feed my cat and do some work at 5 but if I'm playing the UK one before which runs till 3am I'll be rough. I'll try my best

@OorWullie No problem. If I wake up early enough, I might make it to the JP Splatfest for amfew matches. Otherwise maybe during the EU Splatfest. ^^
