Metroid Dread - What To Do When You Arrive In Ghavoran

Now that we're in Ghavoran we have two tasks to accomplish. Firstly, we want to get our hands on our next upgrade, Super Missiles, and then we want to find the shuttle area to move on to the game's next region, Elun.

From the elevator area you've just arrived into from Burenia you need to head right, pull out the grapple beam block and then head up. Pull the next grapple block out of your way and make your way up and left, as indicated in the map below to a room in which you'll face off against another Robot Chozo Soldier.

Dispatch this boss in the same way you did with the last Robot Chozo Soldier (use our guide if you need a little help) and then head left out of this room with a view to heading upwards and then right. You'll come to a network station up here, have a chat with Adam the AI and then save your progress and continue as indicated below.

You're heading to the right here and out this direction you'll come to the area we've pictured below. Shoot out the hidden blocks in the right bottom corner so you can get down to the magnet pad area. However, before you drop down into the gap here, keep heading right to discover an elevator to Dairon. We don't need to use this elevator right now but it's worthwhile getting it marked up on your map.

Now head back and drop down through the gap you made by destroying the blocks and head left. Keep heading left as shown in the map below and you'll reach a statue room containing your Super Missile upgrade.

Once you've nabbed this head in the direction shown below, shoot out the green armoured door with your new super missiles, jump in the morph ball launcher and keep heading right, shooting out another green door and pulling a grapple beam block out of you way, at which point you'll reach the shuttle area for Elun and the next stage of your adventure.
