We've all seen terrible port graphics, bad graphics to start with, and more. I'm not stickler for graphics but i do like a nice looking game when the resources to make them are there.
On to the topic, i think whatever engine Corruption used is great. Also, i think Cell Shaded graphics (like DBZ tenkaichi and i think punch out used it to) look quite good on wii, however cel shaded isnt suited for certain genres....like fps and such.

Have you played XIII , a great cel shaded FPS. Personnaly I think stylised graphic's like Mad World, No more Heroes or the new Red Steel work well for FPS/action games and also more cartoony graphics like LKS or SMG for other genre's.It's when developers start trying to make a 360 game on Wii that thing's start to go wrong (see :The Conduit). As long as they stick to the limitation's of the Wii then the games can look beautiful but it all comes down to the Art direction at the end of the day (see: Metroid Prime).

I played XIII, and it was a boring, frustrating game because of the terrible AI, masked by the gimmick of cel-shaded graphics, which lost its luster after a couple hours.
I like bright colorful graphics with a good artistic design, Im a sucker for cell shaded. Another reaso why I love the toon link Zeldas. Corruption, Galaxy, Brawl, Red Steel 2, Muraasa. They all look great. I dont think graphics are really important, but it doesnt hurt to look good
Realistic graphics should be left to PS3 and 360, the best graphics i have seen for the Wii are the likes of Mario Galaxy, also the cel-shaded graphics of Okami look gorgeous.
Little Kings Story for example. here he goes Was only in 50hz yet managed to pull off a kind of dream like visual and shined with little effects. M3troid is another example of what's possible. SMG2 will hopefully push the Wii a bit further. And there where moments in The Conduit that I drooled (yet others i sooo didn't).
Games like Silent Hill and Cursed Mountain are going in the right direction. Work around the shortcomings and make maximum use of what is there.
Cel shaded works, but I think only XIII and Wind Waker used it for artistic reasons, rather then tech ones. I'm sure there is more examples but I need to stop typing cos a daddy long legs is about to DIE!!! Aaagh come here!
What most developers desperately need is better art direction / better designers. With enough horsepower on something like the PS3, having good programmers and 3d modelers who can achieve semi-photorealism is sufficient to create a good experience, but if you're not going for full photorealism of that sort--and you really shouldn't be on the Wii--the worst thing you can do is just get halfway there, or to go for that look but simply with less polygons, textures, etc. Instead, your designers and art directors should and will matter exponentially more than your game engine's basic realism capabilities.
They never seem to learn. Well, the real problem of course is those horrible multiplatform releases, which do exactly what I'm saying you should never do: take the basic engine and assets from a photorealistic console and then just reduce the complexity for the Wii. That's a recipe for complete and utter ugliness; if you're going to release on the Wii at all, you need to have excellent art designers more than you need any other type of staff involved in the process. Unfortunately, it seems as if many developers who primarily make "realistic" games simply don't understand the importance of design.

@warioswoods: Devil Kings is gonna be a PSWii cross platform bonanza. I hold out hope as they say their Wii game is lookin' gooood. But then they all do.
