I'm really anxious for the review on this game. I'm tempted to get it but I'm still not sure if it is worth my points yet. I only have a limited amount of points that I can spare at the moment so I need to make them count.
I just beat level 5 (if I'm counting correctly) which means that I should have seen a good deal of the game by tomorrow night, and I'll start writing up my review then. Barring any enormous surprises (for better or worse!) I've got an idea of the things I'd like to say. So don't worry, I won't be keeping your points waiting too long!
Thanks Chicken! I hope you are having fun with the game! No need to rush through the game on my account! I am really looking forward to reading your review and I'm sure it will be worth the wait!
Can someone please explain to me why some developers keep making these WiiWare games that do not completely fill up the 16x9 screen of my HDTV? There's about an inch on both sides of the screen. And I know it's not common, but there are still quite a few that are like this. Any ideas?
I should clarify, earlier I said you only get two lives to start a level, but actually when you complete a level the game saves your remaining life total. So if you get a game over on any level, you will be forced to start the level over with the same number of lives that you had when you finished the previous level. Kind of a weird system if you ask me.

It's been like this since the golden age of video games. I don't see how this is any different from any other platformer I've played since the 80's. Every platformer to my knowledge makes you start with the remaning lives from the previous level (Castlevania, Contra, Mario for example). I don't see how what's so weird about it.
EDIT : Wait, I think I get what you're saying. You mean that if you finished a level with 1 life, then die in the next level and get a gameover, you start back with only one life instead of starting with the basic minimum lives pool? If that's what you mean, then yes, it is indeed weird.

I've played games like that before; it's kind of annoying. I'm liking the sound of this and will probably check it out. 900pts doesn't sound too bad. I do want to see KFC's review though.

That is indeed the case. Fortunately, the game gives you an extra life at the end of a level if you collected 100 or more coins on the level, and the coins are pretty common, so you should have at least two lives left at the start of each level.
I might have checked this out if they didn't needlessly throw motion controls into the game. Didn't they get the memo that wii gamers hate that kind of thing? Though, to tell the truth probably wouldn't have gotten it anyway. Hope others enjoy it though.
Hey eripmav I'm going to download this once I put more points on. I support you guys trying so hard, and not just skimping out on us Wii users. Thanks!
Nintendo really needs to up the size limit on WiiWare games. At least 80MBs, preferably 100MBs . I mean anyone who downloads WiiWare games is probably using the SD 4.0 system, so really, there's no excuse anymore. WiiWare is getting to big for Nintendo's limitations.

That's really kind of you, thank you sirgrim:) I hope you enjoy it:)
Hardy, totally agree. It is about time the upper limited was doubled at least. There really is no excuse, seeing as SDHC cards are now so cheap!
Hi there eripmav. Despite the framerate I think you guys have done a really good job shoe-horning this game into the 40Mb limit. Totally agree with you on increasing the upper limit to 80/100Mb but non-the-less you'e done an excellent job. The game looks amazing and (from the player comments) seems to have just the right degree of difficulty.
I'll be getting this game if (more like once, I hope) it arrives on our shores. Good luck with your next game!
First you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women.
