Yeah, I thought the Rolling Ball stars were harder on the first one.

Have to agree, I sucked at those Rolling Ball stars in the first game and I flew right through the first one as well as the Purple Comet Challenge in this game. Which is fine, as I found them insanely frustrating in the first game until I tweaked how I was holding the controller to hold it stiller.

Probably because these were like a slide, and the others were more like a wait and roll and don't fall off sorta thing.

@warioswoods I would rank hub worlds from best to worst as follows:
1. Sunshine (so much to do, so much to see, all with a gorgeous island theme)
2. 64 (just behind Isle Delfino by a hair, I love how there are things to do inside and outside castle, the whole place feels connected)
3. Galaxy 2 (Pretty good, I too enjoy the changing backgrounds. Power-up room, characters from galaxies that pop up, Yoshi [and other power-ups later I presume], gambling minigame, bank Toad, achievement screen, streamlined-ness, and overall aesthetic are all good, but it feels slightly pointless and needless at times.)
4. Galaxy (Far and away the worst. Confusing, unintuitive, uninviting, ugly, and scattered.)

Comet levels are awesome once they finally show up, yes. Only problems for me are 1) I'm OCD so I can't move on without beating them and 2) They're too easy. Are you referring to the Hightail Falls speedrun? I loved how the meteors started raining down and the whole feel of the level transformed. A fun reflex challenge. I didn't much care for the sting ray, but at least it was better than the (so far, at least) crap bird levels.

@Chrono My username is Odnetnin. Did I make a particularly fanboy-ish comment above that prompted your statement of truth?

No I didn't mean fanboy in the sense you love Nintendo (because i love Nintendo WAY too much, lol). I was referring you as a fanboy of Sunshine because of the comments you left for the rest of the 3-D Mario games.

Yes! I FINALLY got all 242 stars! That last star was insane to get, but I finally did it!

Yeah that had to be one of the best stars in any Mario game.

Two more weeks waiting for this game to come out, out of boredom I started playing Galaxy 1 again while I beat that game 6 times already.

Yes I agree the last star was the best star in the mario history

Anyone know if the green stars require you to do totally NRW mission to get them? Or simply harder versions of the old ones?
