There's probably already a thread for this, but at the moment the Wii section is far too cluttered for me to bother searching for it beyond a few pages. Forum search plz!

So IGN just posted their hands on, and they actually said they're impressed. This is IGN we're talkin' bout. Yep. :3

course they could always turn around and give it another 3/10 (after all this is IGN we're talkin' bout) - but still.

I'm actually getting excited for this. I saw some preview footage on YouTube and it looks great. I'll link you guys tomorrow, if you're lazy (like me).

I admit, that looks great! Looks like the HD versions of Sonic Unleashed. I hope the wisps don't get overused (or at least the yellow one)

Indeed. As long as they don't have a "secondary" game and just focus on these Sonic levels, it should turn out great.

One thing I'm worrying about is how much of the game seems to be 2D. Sonic 4 will be satisfying our 2D cravings, and I'd really like to see some awesome 3D level design in Colors.

I'm really impressed by this. By the footage it looked like a good-looking 360 title, but when I found out it was only on Wii I was really impressed by the technical prowess of the game. It looks more impressive then pretty much everything made by Nintendo from a graphical standpoint. It looks really fun too. I'm glad the new powers in the game don't detract from what makes Sonic fun in the first place. I'm stoked for it.

Visually pretty, but it's just a big empty level with a few very easy enemies that you run quickly through with no challenge, half the time on autopilot with an occasional button prompt. I think Sonic needs to decide if it's a platformer or a racing game. This looks like it might be fun if a bit more linear and with a timer added or an opponent to race against.

Yeah, the DS version looks like what I've already paid $30 bucks for... twice.

It looks like the first level to me, so SEGA would probably want to get new players into the feel of things before sending utter chaos to the player.

Might as well give it it's own entity. Plus, it's about getting some players used to its sense of speed.
