I've never played RE5 but freakin loved RE4. Move is coming out in a couple of weeks and I'm getting it, should I get RE5 Gold Edition? and will it be as good as RE4 Wii edition?
I've heard a lot of old school RE fans request a "classic" RE game. Fixed camera angles, no over the shoulder aiming, less ammo, etc. I definitely agree that, while RE4 was fun, it definitely took the emphasis off puzzles and atmosphere in favor of a quicker paced and more commercially palatable game. While I prefer the old RE formula, there are already like a half dozen games that follow that formula. RE1, RE2, RE3, RE Code Veronica, RE0. I say let RE evolve and play the old games if you're craving classic RE.
