I agree with most of you that it won't be rated M, but I do disagree that Nintendo is afraid to make M games, anyone remember Eternal Darkness? That's Nintendo. They used to rather like making violent games in the last two generations. Goldeneye, Conker's Bad Fur Day, and Perfect Dark where rather violent. Sure Rare made them, but Nintendo kind of put their touchs on those last 3!
And in regards to ALL those games, not one of them contained a core/iconic nintendo character like Samus.
Very True and that is why I don't think that Metroid Other M Will be M-Rated!
I dunno. Metroid 3 was given an M rating by the Australian government, and seeing from the E3 vid, i doubt it will be a PG game.
Dont forget the OFLC works diffently to the ESRB. Besides an OFLC M rating be like an ESRB T rating. OFLC's MA rating is more like what we talking here to be like an ESRB M rating.

I'm not doubting that Project M is gonna make this.. ermm.. M-rated but Metroid games has always (well, most of the time) rated T for Teen. If it gets an M rating, then there must be some mighty good grounds for that. My first suspicion: Team Ninja and their previous work.

I just noticed that I actually meant "our M is sometimes like your M and your T is sometimes like our PG"
So thats why Legacy of Ys Books I & II never got an official Australian release then because the opening video of Ys I shows Nudity od the two Godesses Reah & her younger sister Feena . At least theres Gametraders for some random imports which is where i got my copy from .
