With new controls, that's what Nintendo should have already done.

No. Not at all.

Twilight Princess' controls were bad. They shouldn't port The Wind Waker the same way as they did with Twilight Princess (mirrored world anyone?).

No thanks. Just release some GC classics bundled with the a classic controller pro, they would probably play and sell better.

I actually liked wiimote controlled TP, aiming was so much better, sword fighting was a bit gimmicky but didn't ruin the game for me, I wouldn't be surprised if they did get round to releasing WW for wii, I'm sure it would do well sales wise.

Awesome idea! +16:9 widescreen. I'd buy that, plus that new controller looks nice.

Just get Nintendo to make a CC that plays Wii Games. They would get heaps more profit.

Windwaker xould benefit from the cursor. No doubt.

I guess some here like the cluncky GC contros though.

I have bought zero NPC games, cause I am a good consumer. And pious. So, I wait for Zelda No Swords, and cross my fingers for M+ fishing..

I'd buy it. Seems like the NPC releases are slowing down. I wonder how well they sold?

i dissagree i played twilight on the gamcube version loved it but when the wii upgraded version the game got instantly that much better.so gc port could be an idea but i dont think another remake is what nintendo needs .but defently sure next zelda will be great

i keep being blocked ?

Trevor_Fox

I loved the controls on Twilight Princess. Do I really have to swing the remote like a sword to get Link to do the same? Of course not, but it makes the game more fun to me.

I wouldn't buy it. I'm not going to pay $50 for a game with upgraded, or if your a PS3 or 360 fanboy, downgraded, controls.

The Game.

Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.

NPC games are typically $30. Pikmin, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, and Mario Power Tennis are all $30 each.

Still not worth it. Why not just get the exact same game with a more comfortable controller for about $10?

Mario Power Tennis will probably run you about $30 used at GameStop.

Anyway, I would love NPC Wind Waker.

but in the case of pikmin, that $20 extras are totally worth it

No, not really. The controls on the Wii are upgraded by a lot obviously, but the Gamecube controller is much more comfortable and easier to use.

In my case, I have never owned a Game Cube and I don't have or want a GC controller and memory card.

Then why bother owning a Wii? The Gamecube's library is over half the Wii's library of games that aren't garbage.

Not a huge fan of the GC controller, the D-pad is awful and the Z button is even worse, the button layout was interesting but I never though of it as a great controller, which is why I use the classic controller for VC games and not the GC controller.

I hated the GC controller then and I hate it now, I use it for VC games and the crazy button layout drives me nuts. WW works ok because it and the controller were pretty much designed for each other but beyond that its a disaster. I'd buy s Classic controller but I have an entire room filled with white peripherals as it is

Forget about the controls, who cares. The real point is, is it worth to have Zelda The Wind Waker ported to the Wii before they release a new Wii-exclusive Zelda in 2011 or 2012?
