That's because Neo Geo games have the best 2D graphics of any system of it's time! From 1990 to 2003.

I guess that they will wait to release their collections and then on the VC?

I hope not. I don't like all the KOFs or MSs. Besides those collections are very hard to find here in mexico.

By the way, what is the limit size in Megabytes/blocks for VC games?

40 MB though I don't know how that'll translate in blocks. I think compression might be used for some of the later Neo Geo games though.

so is the same that Wiiware huh?....I guess that means I won't see RE2 on the VC =/

I think the carts are massive because the games on them have a ton of data so the carts have to be massive so that they can hold all of that data.

The state of Neo Geo on the Virtual Console may seem like a sad one to some but those of you have to look at the bigger picture here. With the slower release schedule we're now in compared to last year, when we seemed to be getting nothing BUT Neo Geo games, it just doesn't make sense to include games from such a niche system anymore. I understand that those in the know will shout that there are still plenty of big, potential games for the system yet to be released, but ask yourself to define "big" with anything Neo Geo and to whom actually feels that way. It's a very small group of people who would actually consider buying any of those titles, in all honesty. Nintendo really should've focused on their own systems and what's available for those rather than looking to secure even more third party systems for the service. Hopefully this slowdown means they'll be "trimming the fat", so to speak, and unfortunately that might mean no more Neo Geo releases.

I think we've seen more than enough Nintendo platform material on the Wii VC. If Nintendo want's to support one of their platforms, let them get the DSi VC going. There's plenty of stuff available on that end.

Don't get me wrong Corbie, I'm not saying that's what I'd like to happen, just that focusing on more well known games for more well known systems has likely a more profitable outcome and I don't doubt that's how Nintendo has been looking at it recently. My honest opinion is one of "the more the marrier" but if Nintendo wants to go that route they need to release more games at a time in order to keep variety in the updates but as we all know, that's not what happened. In fact it's been quite the opposite and that has become a huge negative for the service. The ideal solution would be to release more games a week but clearly Nintendo doesn't want to do that, so it only makes sence to start cutting systems from the roster, no? Make the few VC releases count.

What do you mean by cutting out from the VC? Removing it, or not supporting it?

Rapadash6

I mean just cease releasing new games for that particular system. I certainly hope Nintendo doesn't start removing games from the server.
