After hearing some coments such as "OMG these is the most amazing game" seeing some videos, reading the review and seeing that these game got a really extensive gameplay, I think I will buy it, the point is where?
Where I live a Wii game cost 80$ and they really don't have any variety of games, idk if buying it by internet is the best option, but idk which is a page the one sells NEW games the one I can trust...
@hulk.... Amazon is the way to go. Just buy from Amazon themselves and get Free Shipping with it and you know its fully trustworthy.
But in amazon I really don't know if the product is from quality or not, and example is that I have brought a book in spanish, and I recive that book but in english, and can't get my money back...
So maybe I get a japanese game or a european game the one don't work with my wii... so isn't there like a nintendo oficial game sales in internet?
And I have look up in amazon and get that monster hunter 3 tri game from 40$ to 999$ so, I really don't trust amazon.
I'm probably picking up this game tomorrow. Is there anything I should know as a beginner? Also is it worth getting the Classic Controller Pro with it?

I'm terrible at this game - I admit it, and it's not my favourite game anyway, but I'm mildy enjoying it for an hour here, an hour there.
Point is, I'm so terrible at it I'm stuck at Great Jaggi. Any tips on how to beat him?
If you're bowgunning, aiming for his head, keep moving(roll, roll and roll again), use flame shots if you can(I think the medium bowgun will allow you to do this?) and take time out every so often to crowd control to hordes of Jaggis and Jaggia with pellet shots.
Oh and, come online and practice, you can learn a lot about the movements and good tactics to take by standing off a bit and watching others at work.
If you just stick with it eventually your tumbs and Eye hand co-ordination will lvl up. It would be nice to get a sound when they do though my human interfaze has not evolved that way..... yet.
My left thumb is a lvl 15 and my right thumb is a lvl 12. Im also a lvl 8 Waggler .
Lol Cheers everyone! GL with MHT i hope you stick with it. You will feel the love once you get thos thumbs lvled up a bit you'll see

I'll also add to this that the wiimote/nunchuck combination is not nearly as fiddly as reviews suggest. I actually found it a lot more comfortable than using the CC, where due to the placement of buttons I found I kept dodging rather than attacking. It's a good controller for VC games though.
What a difference a month and a half makes. I was hyped up more for this game than I was for just about anything else before it. I spent weeks before it came out studying the Wiki for it, learning about it, whatever I could do. The day it came out I was there as the store opened to get it, then spent the next week or so playing it, but then something dawned on me.
I wasn't having fun playing it.
Everything was there for me to enjoy it, it looked good, the controls worked pretty much, they did a good job explaining stuff in game but for some reason I just couldn't get into it. It was like I was playing it because I had to play it if that makes any sense. I went in wanting to love it but came out indifferent to it.
Luckily I had a friend who wanted it and bout it from me at Gstops used price, so I didn't really lose out since I got the 500 point card and the classic controller pro (which is now my favorite controller EVER) with it and used that money to get Red Dead Redemption.
Don't think I'm bashing the game, because I'm not. I just don't know why it didn't click with me. I mean, it's a good (borderline great) game, but it just wasn't fun for me. It wasn't the slow build, because I usually love that in games. The only thing I can see is that the game is a lot of repitition (go here, fight this, loot, repeat...) but I love games like Baroque and Diablo that are pretty much the same thing. I really wish I knew why, but it just wasn't for me.
I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.

This was exactly how I was feeling. But thanks to Machu, and online hunting, I don't feel that way anymore as online is so much fun. You cant enjoy this game soley from the offline quests, you need to venture online.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
The game takes a really long time to warm up to. But when you're no longer stuck with barroth armor and playing online, this thing is real fun for sure.
No online, no fun though. I can barely play offline... I think this game will have infinite playing value because of the seemingly endless onlineage!
Though sometimes i find it happens to me too. The game is great and then bam! Its like games have to launch at the right moment when im in the right mood. I know Galaxy 1 was like that for me. its a really good game though iv never been able to sustain the effort to finish it compleatly.

Agreed! The single player game is good but online is where its at. If you can find some good friends to play with online the fun is limitless!!

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.

Agreed, the offline game, whilst fun, lacks the crucial social element. I tend to use offline as my base of operations for stuff like farming items(a pretty much essential chore if you bowgun and want to be able to combine extra ammo in quests) and whatnot to fuel the online game.
Any tips on beating Barroth offline? I have rhenoplos armor and a iron lance + (I also made a bone lance +)
I'm not used to using a lance, which makes my character feel pretty slow to use. Blocking with it is awkward too. I might try a bowgun but I'm not sure.
