The Game looks fun and silly just like The DS one they made. but really? The one time where Square teams up with Nintendo, and they make an Sport game?
I wonder if they added Bliz Ball

I want this game to be good, but I don't think Square Enix does well with Mario sports games. I don't think they understand how these sports work. I mean, they thought basketball was about collecting coins...
Preordered the sucker. I'm a little heart broken about unlocking stages multiple times (per sport), but the only other things that need to be unlocked multiple times is the secret characters, none of which I care about, and alternative colors for characters, which isn't worth the effort.

The good news is that Nintendo Power brought up that exact same point about Mario Hoops, but they say the problem has been fixed in this version of Mario basketball. Overall, they give the game an 8/10.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

Yeah, I just read that review. I still really don't like the way dodgeball is portrayed though. It doesn't mean the ADAA (American Dodgeball Association of America) requirements.
I still want this! I always wanted Mario Dodgeball, also I like hockey but I don't want Mario and Sonic. Volleyball is a good replacement for Tennis. All that is left is Wario Wrestling.
I can see Shy Guy and Black Mage being on a team together.
Shy Guy is not a playable character...He was in Mario Hoops 3-on-3 as Fly Guy, but not in this game. He is only a default goalie in hockey.
Ah, bummer. I hope there's going to be plenty of characters anyway.
There are 19 characters (11 Mario Characters, 5 Final Fantasy characters, Mii, and 1 character yet to be revealed.) Which is kind of pathetic counting there were 21 in Mario Hoops 3-on-3, a DS sports game also made by square.
I would hardly call having 2 less characters than their previous game "pathetic," especially considering Mario Hoops was mostly garbage anyway.
