I just dont hear much about it. Im thinkin about renting it and borrowing my broinlaws Wii to play it. How long is it?
I liked it, I just finish it up, and now that I am talking about I think that is what I will do when I get home from work tonight is play Madwrold a bit.
I'm sure it's good, but it' not for me. I switch off halfway through levels, and numbness sets in. Spike, tyre, bin, man, wall... repeat. I'm taking this to tradeville also.
I think the game was okay, I liked the humor more than anything; the gameplay itself felt too repetitive. While it's not a bad game, I do feel it is a bit overrated.

Totally agree with you there. Left me feeling a bit meh. Too much hype and way too much wash, rinse and repeat.

Same here. Fun game, great mechanics and style, and the DiMaggio-Proops commentary is awesome. But numbness is definitely the word -- not that it would get bad, just repetitve and meh. Just a personal tatste thing though, i definitely understand people absolutely loving this game.
I liked the art style but the idiotic humor, childish violence and monotonous gameplay made me get away from the game. If you enjoyed No more Heroes I bet you will enjoy this one a lot.
the only problem i found was the art style could be confusing at times. for instance i thoughtht i was gonna run thoughth a door and it ended up being a wall when i was up close
It is awesome. For the black/white style, things are very clear to pick out. The gameplay is amazing and never gets old. It's a very short game (3-6 hours depending on if you're playing for points). But very often I go back and replay levels. It's a very addicting game. AND HARD MODE IS INSANE.

It's a terrible niche game with little to offer. You can beat it in under 5 hours easily and killing people gets boring after 5 minutes because there are only a few ways to kill people (put a tire on them, shove a pike in their face and chop em in half.) Sounds cool, but it gets so annoying after the fifth time you do it. I hated the game and returned it right away
Any fool can make things bigger, more complex, and more violent. It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage - to move in the opposite direction. - Albert Einstein on the Wii
Is it sort of like a 3D Streets of Rage or something?
Oddly enough this is the first thing a thought of when I started playing it. Not in a negative way but in the cool pick up objects and use them as weapons kind of thing. I would agree with a lot of people that it does get repetative but most beat em'ups do. But in short bursts its one hell of a game.
