I particularly remember this bit in a Mickey game where you had to walk on a spider's web and also a level based on The Prince and the Pauper. Played Tiny Toons loads as well.
Magical Quest is the one I played. Watching videos of it, I realize now that I remember it being something completely different and better, but I remember the cover art well, and this is the one where you had different abilities and costumes.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
Seriously? No one's heard of this movie? It was one of my favorites as a kid, and I still have it to this day. The animation is actually really good, and it has a few songs in it that are also pretty good. One thing I didn't know as a kid, though, is that the movie was based off of a comic from the 20s or something like that.

Winsor McCay was one of the greatest cartoonists of all time! Little Nemo started in 1906 and ran for 14 years or so. My son's name is Silas, which was a pseudonym that McCay used to make comics for different papers (like Dreams of Rarebit Fiend). You wouldn't be doing yourself any disservice to go to a library and check out a Winsor McCay book.... absolutely beautiful.
Oh and as a fan of the comics, I still thought the movie was good, and the NES game was great.
Remember how Oscar on the DSiWare was a reskinned Trolls game because they couldn't get the Trolls license?
More companies should be doing that with their old licensed games. Strip every graphic out that is licensed or related to the original licence, make up a new character and a premise, keep the gameplay exactly the same and release it as a WiiWare or DSiWare game.
Okay, so it won't be the same game as you remember but it would play the same at least.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
