It's technically a SRPG. There IS a Namco Wii RPG coming out in Spring, Arc Rise Fantasia, that looks pretty good.

No, and honestly, I think it may be commercial suicide to release a turn-based RPG on Wii since the majority (3rd party at least) of games only have a chance of selling if they exploit Wii functionality. This is something a turn-based RPG wouldn't do and why we get games like Crystal Bearers instead of a traditional Final Fantasy.
That said, Arc Rise Fantasia and Monado: The Beginning of the World are two games to look forward to it seems.

To be perfectly honest, I think it's a good thing. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of JRPGs, so I'm not going to say no to more of 'em, but with the DS being supersaturated in that genre, I'm still trying to catch up on that platform. If there was a ton of 'em on Wii, I'd be so far behind it wouldn't even be funny. It's nice to not be totally swamped.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.
There are some on GameCube, which you can play on your Wii, such as Pokemon Colosseum and its sequel, XD: Gale of Darkness.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
In your opinion. I love the genre. Speak for yourself
Maybe he was only speaking for himself.
