I LOVED Excite truck, I got it when it first came out in the UK in April 2007(I think) and me and my mate still play it!! We played it for 7 hours one day last week!! I actually loved it so much that I bought excitebots even though I couldn't play it! Please, wait, it get's crazier.........

I then bought a Wii from the goold old US just so I could play it!! Waiting on it arriving, should be any day now(fingers crossed) I have heard nothing but good things being said about this game so I hope I'm not let down in any way.

I personally feel that NOE will never release it, or Nintendo in Australia(thats the only way I got to play Snowboard Kids 2 on my N64!! Saviours!) but if it's on sale for $15 then someone should buy some stock of it, and sell them to people with an NTSC Wii in Europe to get the numbers up! $15 = £8.93 today, cheaper than Pokemon Rumble on Wiiware!!!

The enthusiasm for those who have this game is first class, we just need to pass this onto those who doubt it and convert them!

I'm still interested in Need for Speed Nitro, but this game is so mas mental I just don't see how anything else could measure up to it.

I got Need for Speed Nitro on release day, and it was quite fun, but I havent gone back to it yet as there have been other great games released since.

Having said that it IS a good game and I intend to spend some time on it soon. But you're right, it just can't compare with the Excite series. At least EA have the right idea with Nitro, less emphasis on the realism and more on downright fun gameplay!

Sean I was finally convinced over the holiday weekend to buy this. We talked about this game a few weeks back and i got this as part of the buy 2 get 1 free deals gamestops usually have in the States. Once I start playing this game I will get my friend code on here.

Excellent. I'll definitely be spinning this more in the near future since I've got a few NA-exclusives to review, which means I'm more likely to keep that system on for other things (I should play some more of those NA-WiiWare games as well....).

@Sean: I've sent you a replay of one of my best races, hope it doesn’t discourage you but watching it will give you tips on scoring a lot of stars.
@vonboysp: I have sent you that race as a challenge although now that I think about it may be too difficult to beat with the Mantis.

Did anyone who bought this game (see previous posts) play it yet, I'm a little curious.

I wish Nintendo would release this in europe. Just watched a review on youtube and it looks brilliant. Is there any talk of a release?

I've not heard a thing from Nintendo of Europe but i read somewhere that Nintendo Australia had confirmed it wouldn't see a PAL release. But never say never. It deserves a release without doubt. Maybe if Excitebike on WiiWare does well enough they may reconsider???........
