Thanks for the vids and the stars Ray! I picked up the Centipede and the Spider (only tried the latter in anger) and managed A ranks in those two problem tracks (though it did take several tries) -- I expect the S to be beyond my abilities frankly.
I bought this game from gohastings the other day during their buy 2 get 1 for $1 deal. It arrived in the mail today and I can't wait to play it. Looks like a lot of fun.
The good news, Best Buy has this game for cheap. $15 is a great deal. (Also good news, I really like this game now!)
The bad news, Nintendo is not shipping more copies of the game. Best Buy will probably be sold out soon, and then may not restock it. The box store in my town had about 4 copies. I almost wanted to buy them to give to friends and recruit more players.
How long will Nintendo WFC continue to support finding fellow players for online races? Probably not forever, right. I hope it's for the life cycle of the Wii console generation at least. I've only just begun to try the online races (completed the School cup which opens the WiFi Channel mode).
I'm stillllll playing my way through the levels of ExciteBots, believe it or not.
Yes I'm a fast racer, but apparently a slow gamer, haha.
Actually I have been saving the new levels and only progressing through levels when 1 of my buddies comes over. We have passed up through the Silver levels together. Going for Gold soon.
Anyone else still playing it?
Have to say I don't play Excite Truck anymore since I moved up to Excite Bots, but really both are excellent Wii memories.
