Topic: Do you want another Metroid in the style of Other M ?

Agreed...I mean I enjoy it so far, and they had the right idea for the first person part. It was just VERY annoying.
I would be happy if they fixed a few things...well more than a few I suppose.

I rank Other M as the second best Metroid game ever (tied with Prime, that is). I only have three complaints:

If they only improved what I mentioned, I would be happy with it. It would be nice if that added new concepts to the gameplay, too.

Yeah dunno what everyone was complaining about, other than those FPM moments. (I actually liked one or two of them) But having to put the pointer exactly there...ugh.

I want a Legend of Zelda game in the style of Other M... just so that Link can run around following Zelda's orders and then fanboys can cry about it and stuff.

i think there's too much room for improvement to just leave it at other m. by the time they get around to a sequel the nerd rage should have cooled down a bit and i don't think a second game would get the same reaction out of people. it seems like most fans are on the same page here, just make it less linear and more atmosphere based (bring kenji back) and it'll be great.

they could probably add the nunchuk option in, i wouldn't use it but it would definitely stop the complaining and maybe even demonstrate to the critics why the analog stick wouldn't have worked for other m. super metroid had customizable controls and it didn't undermine the gameplay then, in fact i like my own scheme better than the default. it can make the game more fun for those few people that inevitably won't like the standard controls no matter how perfect they may be.

I'm not a fan of anything Other M added, personally. They can fix it all they want, I still probably won't like the end result.

I've beaten Metroid: Other M 100% a few hours ago. Imo it's the second best Metroid game... after Super Metroid of course.
This is the perfect 3D-Metroid. More Metroid games of this kind please!

Metroid: Other M is great, anyways they can improve some thing:
I will like to go back to the same place 2 or 3 times, I like it linear, but maybe not so much?
I will like to have more great music.

And yes, the game is great I LOVE but LOVE the action these game has, you know jumping into other guys and killing them with a super charged beam, or oh well!!!

Maybe if they loose the stuck in person mode, lose the auto-aim, lose the voice acting and supporting cast, bring back the isolation factor, up the difficulty, bring back the old upgrade system, use the nunchuck this time around, and make Samus bad ass again then yes...but only if all the criteria above is met.

Of course "get better writers" is my suggestion for most games with any emphasis on story.

I most definitely want another Other M. The amount of negative buzz that this game got just drives me bonkers! Yes, Other M does have a few things to be improved upon, but it DID NOT deserve anything below an 8. It still annoys me that those reviews that scored it less than so even exist...

I don't get why everyone hates the voice acting...Samus is still a "bad ass" character that'll take down freakishly large monsters. >_>
