Topic: Splatoon - OT

That but mostly squad is just played predominantly by S rankers.

@Jazzer94: Yeah, but you have to be amazing in order to reach S rank though. Still, I probably could do with putting more thought into my weapon abilities.

@Jazzer94: That's why I felt we did good with 2 mid to short range, a roller and you with the long range the other day. Out weapons definitely complemented each other much better.

I think if we want to win in Kelp Dome, one person has to go immediately to the right of the spawn point to eliminate the enemies from behind while the remaining three try to capture or neutralize the tower...

@crimsontadpoles: No you don't have to be amazing to reach S.

@crimsontadpoles: I've never thought I was amazing and honestly thought I was always going to be an A- to A player. Now it seems even A+ is so much easier then before. Now S rank is really hard compared to anything else but you don't have to be amazing to get but maybe amazing to stay there.

@Spoony_Tech: I know some people like to stick with one weapon but it becomes important to have at least another weapon type as a secondary especially for squad.

@Jazzer94: Are you suggesting I give up my trusty .52 deco lol! You're right though and I should have something a bit more long range. I need more practice with the .96 as I like it but haven't used it much.

@Spoony_Tech @Jazzer94 perhaps you two are just really good. I think I'm a decent player, but I can only just about hang on to A-.

Who ever Hamish is just swim when there are two players inking a path don't waste time charging shots.

@crimsontadpoles: That's the thing and you just said it you learn with each rank up how to play better. After playing long enough in A- I got to the point where it became easy. I've been in S rank for over a month and just now I'm learning what it takes to play here. That's what makes this game so fun for me is watching and learning. I've even seen my 8 year old son pull off S rank moves and I've learned a few things from him. He's only a B to B- but if he wanted to be he could make it to S.

That'll do me for now, plus teams will be even.

Edit: One of the most important skills to do well in this game is awarnesss. Do you have a good idea where the enemy is before super jumping? Can you notice slight ripels or sound to alert you to enemies and weapon types? These are what separate good from bad players for the most part.

Made so many dumb mistakes when i held the rainmaker. Specially in salt spray . XD Definitely need more practice in rainmaker mode. I record my perspective video will up soon.
