@Spoony_Tech: I've not seen it happen yet other than the video on here,or at least I've not been aware of it.I've yet to get the hang of Hammerhead Bridge,I've not really played on it that much but so far it's not clicking with me like the others. What's your opinion of it?
@Rexcalibr: I use motion controls, and I've gotten into the habit of pressing Y every time I get splatted to adjust the camera when I respawn. I find it very useful! Sorry that motion controls aren't working for you... Are you still a roller? At least with rollers motion controls aren't that necessary to precisely aim. The wide radius of rollers are really nice, I'm kinda spoiled with the wide range with my Tri-Slosher. I'm loving the disruptor and bubbler combo!
@Spoony_Tech:: Thanks for playing.Flounder Heights is actually one of my stronger maps for Splat Zones,I usually do alright on it with my new tactics of sneaking off and being a nuisance, doesn't really work on the Skatepark though..
@OorWullie: Your welcome. What's funny is that the skate park is usually one of my stronger stages. I'm starting to figure out some things in the Heights in Zones but still need more play time there. You did well overall. I think even better than me. You'll get to A soon enough. Sorry you took another hit again today though.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
It took me a little while to understand, but I guess they're comparing the first 18 weeks of Splatoon with the first 18 weeks of Mario Kart last year? Who knew Splatoon had such appeal that it could beat out Nintendo's best-selling franchise (at least in Japan)?
This is really good news for those in favour of new IP's. Sometimes, it seems like new IP's are too risky these days, and can't compete with games that already have an existing fanbase. But maybe Splatoon will be that success story that proves to Nintendo that staying creative and innovative can really pay off! You know, without having to resort to using Mario again.
@Nicolai On the other hand, if those graphs were scaled by the consoles sold by the point in time, I don't know how much below MK8's curve Splatoon would be...
I expect this point has been raised at Neogaf already, though, and dismissed since the graphs keep on being posted here as well.
According to Media Create, the week before Mario Kart 8 was released (Week 21 2014 May 19 - May 25), there were 1,745,554 Wii U systems in Japan.
According to Media Create, the week before Splatoon was released (Week 21, 2015 May 18 - May 24), there were a total of 2,337,877 Wii U systems in Japan.
Since release, comparing week-by-week, Splatoon has sold more in Japan than Mario Kart 8 every week, except week 1 and 2.
Mario Kart 8 had a Wii U bundle and most copies sold after the first weeks where bundle copies. (The MK8 bundle was recently replaced with a Super Mario Maker bundle.) Splatoon has not got a bundle in Japan.
Incidentally, Splatoon helped boosting Mario Kart 8 figures during the past months, since many of the Splatoon purchases got a Mario Kart 8 bundled with the new Wii U system.
Splatoon is already the most purchased Wii U item on the Japan eShop.
In Japan, comparing September weeks alone: Mario Kart 8 sold an average of around 6,500 copies per week in September 2014. Splatoon sold an average around 18,000 copies per week in September 2015.
The customer demand for Splatoon is simply much higher than for Mario Kart 8 in Japan.
Bought the game yesterday. Looking for friends to play against. Add me if you want I can pretty much be active most of the day/night so it's not an Issue.

@Moms-Meowth Lol, so classy and sarcastic. Love it."
@Jazzer94: I'm still nervous about encountering an octoling online. I still need to buy a flash drive to back up my data. I'd be up for Private battle.
@Jazzer94 If you're still up for it then we can play a few rounds.
Also I don't really see the need to worry about Octolings to the point where you have to stop playing the game, haven't seen any for the past few days.
Japan's next splat fest has been announced! In participation with "Mutenkura Sushi"įĄæˇģããå¯ŋå¸, the Splatfest theme is: "Which do you like more? Squid or Octopus?

What do you mean? Did people hack the game and it causes you to lose all your data and start over?
