Topic: Splatoon - OT

Ha ha! Yes, the Carbon Roller Deco finally arrives. I can just see myself just going nuts with the Seeker Bomb Rush! Though the Burst Bombs and Inkzooka did help ease me in as a Roller user... I'll have to try it out the next time I go to my friend's house.

@Rexcalibr not quite, if you run into an octoling online and then go back to the plaza, it will soft lock your Wii U whenever you go to the plaza. It doesn't erase your data, but you would either have to delete your data, wait for a patch by Nintendo or until Splatfest if you want to play it again.

@Iggly: It has bomb rush with seekers, damn can't wait to use that.

Next splatfest in NA is Car vs Plane. I can already tell ya Plane will be more popular, but I want to pick Car...

Why do I battle people who are flopping in squid form like a fish out of water so often? Or just now I finished a battle with 2 people using the Octobrush and they painted this area against my team and then they were just in that corner jumping in circles until I came by and splatted them, it was so strange

The weirdest thing happened to me this evening.

While ran-sacking the enemy base on camp trigger-fish, I activated my bubbler. As I approached one of my teammates he also got a bubbler, but then when I slammed into him, my bubbler clipped through his and we had to run around for a bit stuck together!

I backup the Splatoon save states to the Wii U, and the Splatoon's data isn't that big. If the save/update data is on an external HDD, that data is prioritized before the Wii U storage when running the game.

Also, regarding the octoling thing: if you would see someone with an octoling outfit in the game (I haven't seen any yet), the best approach apparently is turn off the Wii U directly during the match. That way the octoling will not appear in the Plaza, and you don't lock the lobby to depend on the Octoling.

Turf War is a pretty fun place right now - soooo many seekers everwhere!

I also played against a level 50 player that was using the standard Splattershot Jr. Fun to see player who had played through all those hours of the game to reach level 50, and then use one of the first weapons available in Splatoon.

Is anyone up for a few squad matches?
