I could swear in Rainmaker (since it's the only thing available other than Turf Wars right now) , the team that gets to the rain maker first will win 90% of the time. I also don't really understand the distance counter point system. It seems like it will activate upon the first team touching it but then after than seems to just turn on and off at random, unless someone can explain this to me.

It would also be nice if the person who gets the rain maker and gets to the other teams hill (winning the game) would get more rank points but it doesn't seem like it makes any difference. There have also been times when I covered the most distance on my team with the rain maker but it stills says I underperformed compared to my other teammates.

It's a fun mode but it's one of those things where it's really fun and satisfying if you win and very frustrating when you lose. I am one loss away now from going back to a C rank.

@Rexcalibr: There's 2 counters. The one on the top judges distance from the finish. The other will count down and I believe kill the carrier once depleted. Also in higher ranks that's not true for the 90% often the team that picks it up first will lose in my experiences.

@Iggly: Actually I might play in 2hrs instead if ok, need a break after that hour plus of Splatfest.

@Rexcalibr: The distance counter focuses on the Rainmaker itself. It might seem like it turns on and off at random, but it doesn't. The meter won't move if the Inkling with the Rainmaker doesn't move. The distance only increases when your team surpasses your old distance record. The arrow on the meter will move back and forth, depending on which way the Inkling with the Rainmaker is moving. If the Rainmaker is moving away from your goal, the distance won't ever subtract points. Hope this helps.

Also, I'm pretty sure in rank battles, your ranking at the end comparing to your teammates is based on kills. It doesn't matter how much turf you inked, the Inkling with the most kills gets MVI (Most valuable Inkling)

In Ranked, the result list is only sorted in Kills/Splats ratio. Don't pay attention to it. The only thing that's important in Ranked is if you as a team can group together to win the match.

Why were most of the other Autobots trying to lose? I mean really. I shouldn't have lost as many as I did after I would score like 1300 points. They were literally doing nothing but dying on occasion. I feel robbed

@Whopper744: Whine, whine, whine lol. Too many kids were treating it like it was a ranked match. I watched my 8 year old son bypass so much ink and uncovered turf that I had to remind him what was more important. After about 4 to 5 matches he finally got the idea. I think too many people were looking for kills.

I don't think I've ever won a Splatfest. Next time, whatever team I'm thinking of joining, I'm gonna vote opposite of that. lol

Hey guys , i just have one question : The abilities on the clothes ( the 1 or 2 or 3 slots under the main abilities ) do they affect the gameplay ? Cause i had 3 special weapon duration up on 1 hat but then when i used the big octopus special power it lasted pretty much as long as it did before wearing the hat . So is there something wrong with the game or am i doing something wrong ?

@Megapokepaul: That only works on specials like inkstrike and Killer Whale. It allows you more time to execute your strike. It doesn't prolong the effect of the Kraken or inkzooka.

Change it to something along the lines of getting your special charged up quicker.

@Spoony_Tech: Actually, it does. Special Duration Up applies to all Specials. You may not notice it but the buff is there. Here...
