part 2 is up I noticed my teams chances of winning increasead when port mackarel is picked but when flounder heights got picked its the other teams lucky stage
So I watched this whole thing, ok mostly listened to it. Bored at work. I think you went 21-11 and did Us proud! Ypuve definitely gotten better since we last played.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
Autobots are gonna lose. Calling it now. Every match I was in, I was paired with level 2-4 people against levels 30s and up. We were slaughtered EVERY TIME. Like not even close. I'm talking resulting in a 90/10 score every battle. Not even joking. And sometimes some teammates didn't help at all! Just standing there or turning in and out of Squid form nonstop! It was a joke! I'm telling you, we don't stand a chance
@Spoony_Tech: Thanks, my mindset at first was in rank mode but i just had to revert to focusing on inking turf rather than going after enemy squids. Thanks for watching it.
@Storytime7: I think they should add a bit more flare to it by changing it up or making it more unique, because to be honest, at the moment it feels a bit dull being stuck to only Turf War each time. Maybe offer cool different prizes (other than just Super Sea Snails), or maybe alternate the which mode each Splatfest should focus on.
It would be cool if all the stages were in rotation during Splatfest. Having the same three stages during Splatfest really gets boring after awhile. I know they only have two or three stages at a time for a reason; they want people to use weapons that are good for those stages, but does anyone actually do that? I always use my main weapons, the Slosher, Splattershot Pro, Splatterscope, or the Custom Dual Squelcher. I pick different main weapons depending on the mode, but never use a weapon I don't like just because it's "good" in a certain stage.
@Aromaiden: Agreed. The plaza looking different and playing on nighttime versions of the maps was cool at first, but there's no reason to look forward to more splatfests if those are the only significant changes. The worst part is that it limits gameplay options by only having turf wars, and ranking up in splatfests is just a grind. As it stands, these splatfests have just been a good excuse for me to play something other than Splatoon.
@Blue_Blur: I mostly stick with the Splattershot Jr. Not exactly the ideal weapon for ranked mode, but I've managed to reach B+ with this weapon. Unfortunately, I've been stuck there for over a week.
Like, they should make equipment based on the themes for the people who won. Imagine Transformers clothing that made us look like Prime or Megatron. lol

Keep it PG-13-ish.
@Megumi: That's actually one of the ideas I originally thought of. It would be amazing if we would get themed gear from the Splatfest; it would really make Splatfests more memorable.
@Storytime7: I actually use the Splattershot Jr. from time to time, and I think the bubbler comes in handy a lot, especially in Tower Control or Splat Zones. Being stuck on a rank isn't your fault though; it's luck and your teammates that determine your ranking. And we all know that you can always depend on your teammates... (sarcasm). I've seen quite a few A+ and S people using the Splattershot Jr., so I wouldn't give up on the weapon.
@Blue_Blur: I wouldn't stop using it. None of the other weapons are as fun to me as the Splattershot Jr. The bubbler can be great in certain situations, and splat bombs are surprisingly useful. I just hate how much it seems like ranked battle favors weapons that kill in one hit, or have good range.
This was my first time trying Ranked Battles and I can't say I'm too big on the Splat Zones game. Definitely prefer Turf Wars. I sort of wish the Splat Zone was more clear on the map and to me, what weapon you use will have a big impact on if you win or lose. Most people it seems just use snipers and camp out on a high level and just keep shooting anyone who gets close.
I also super jumped to a partner and four times in a row, was killed immediately upon landing. I guess I need to experiment more with other weapons other than the Paint Roller or stick to Turf Wars.
Managed to get to Dancing King (EU/AU servers) and I have to agree with you guys... Being stuck with the same three maps for an entire day gets really boring. After playing 9 hours yesterday and 5 hours today, my right wrist is extremely sore so I'm going to have a day's break from Splatoon.
