Topic: Splatoon - OT

Can't seem to get a good team at all this Splatfest. The Decepticons seem to have all of the good players.

Yeah definitely should have went with the Decepticons.

Ok, done for the night. Easily the worst I've ever done. Played for over 3 hours and only won 4 matches. Ridiculous losing streak.

@IceClimbers: If It makes you feel any better I only won say 55% of my games last night for about 2 hours. Sad thing is I was first on my team about 85% of the time regardless if I was positive or negative kdr. It seems the people I was with forgot that actually turfing was a thing. They all had more kills and deaths then I did almost every game. I advoided fighting unless it was necessary.Oh and I'm on the Decepticons.

Did anybody get same team 's same team? I never seen that once as I think my team is in the minority. I did have a couple of connection issues but it wasn't anything too bad. Never while in game.

@jariw: I can't believe it, but they are starting to show around.
Saw 2 or 3 Lv50 the other day. I thought I was playing too much, but it feels like I'm not even playing compared to those people XD

I've played against at least 3 to 4 level 50's so far. I feel like it's taken me forever just to get to 32.

After watching my son play today too many people including him are treating this as a ranked game. They're ignoring turfing anything around them and are swimimg to the other teams areas. I'm having a hard time watching him play as it's more yelling at him to paint and avoid fighting if necessary.

@IceClimbers: I had a similar run last night. Either it's because I just suck at Tower Control (possible), all the opponents were conveniently more skilled or I got put on some bad teams. Went from B- to C+

@IceClimbers: But I betcha the Autobots will have a lot more support, and if the popularity is extremely lopsided, it almost doesn't matter how good the team is.

I'm hearing from my end the Autobots aren't doing so hot. I have heard of Autobots vs Autobots though so that pretty much tells me they have the majority but by how much. My son's play time today was much more successful then mine last night and we were both crushing the Autobots. Still we may have to win by a 55 to 45 to take it home.

Man I'm glad I checked this thread, or I would have missed the whole Splatfest! I must say, I'm really liking this purple.

I've had landslide victories on both sides so far.

Picked Autobots however I don't think I will be playing much of fest, not in the mood to play the game nor do I have any need for more snails (not buying every piece of clothing and filling their slots...pretty much use one clothing set anyways), funny though that I was using the power helmet and boots, looked like I was right into it!...on to play other games now I guess.

@Undead_terror: Good for you, just sit back and watch as we don't need anymore good players to play against lol.

Why in the Transformer themed Turf Wars does it not tell you what each team member contributed after the game? It only tells you YOUR score so I really don't know how I measured up with everyone else.... it always tells you in regular Turf Wars.

It is slightly annoying.

@Rexcalibr: All Splatfest's have been the same. They still put you in order from first to last though. They just don't show their scores.

Well I am having fun with this game even though I will probably not be playing it for a while when Mario Maker comes out. I have gotten to world 3 in campaign mode but online, I have only stuck to Turf Wars and using the Kraken Paintroller (I tried other weapons and didn't really like them).

Someone who was on an opposing team was using the paintbrush and positioned himself at my team's spawn point and just waiting for people to respawn and kill them right away. It was frustrating. Sometimes I feel like I'm doing really good, and covering up a lot of the opposing team's ink, building up my special and going for a long period of time without dying and then I look at the gamepad and see that my team is being annihilated. It really has to be a team effort for you to win, so a lot of times I feel like it's completely random...

There have been people on my team when the game is over that contributed 0 points. I'm assuming they just got up and walked away from the game or don't care. Ughh...

@Rexcalibr: Sometimes I like to follow the other teams paint rollers and cover up what they're doing without them even noticing. It gets my special charged and totally eliminates what they just did.

@Rexcalibr: Real talk only bad teams get camped successfully (unless uneven teams), you have a sheild wait, bomb or engage with teammates backing up or even just ignore and go past.
