Question: is it possible to reach the enemy spawn point in Flounder Heights? I really tried to find an entrance using Recon, but didn't found anything.

I don't think so. I've tried as well, but every way is blocked off.
3) Do we have any idea whether or not a 4th ranked-mode will ever be added?
Don't know. Also don't know if there will be one more Regular modes added, other than Turf War.
Wow, awesome. Thanks! 16 stages sounds like an incredibly nice number; I look forward to finding out what the rest could possibly be.
And I hadn't even considered another regular mode other than Turf War; that could be highly interesting!

Anyone else finding the Dynamo Roller, to be annoying? I understand that they are slow and take a long time to shoot, but it seems kind of cheap, how they have huge range and will always one shot you. It's really difficult to take one on without catching them by surprise or outnumbering them. It seems unfair.
I often misjudge the range of the Dynamo Roller, and think they will only reach as far as a carbon roller. But Dynamo Rollers is ink consuming, so 2 out-of-range splashes in a row usually makes it safe to approach a Dynamo Roller.
I finally decided the dynamo roller was in fact OP, and not just my poor skill against it, when on Moray Towers I was on a level area between ramps and the Dynamo killed me from halfway DOWN the ramp. Made me think the game doens't take gravity into effect adn just considered the distance at the ramp ground level, b/c no way should ink travel that far up that great of a hill.
Oh, and getting killed in 1 splat zone on Camp Triggerfish from a roller in the other splat zone across the water is kind of annoying also, how does a .52 gal not shoot as far as a roller?
Played my only game on Flounder Heights in rainmaker mode last night, my team had 4 of the usual splatter type guns, they had 2 dynamo rollers and a sniper. It didn't go well. We didn't get KO'd, but we were always on defense battling for our lives. And it was A+, A, B+, B+ against 4 B+, so that probably didn't help. Stupid matchmaking, either split up the ranks or the weapons, stupid thing.

@rjejr: I had a match on that stage with 2 snipers camping out near their base. They had the tower on lock down so we had to deal with them first. I like that stage because there's so many ways to surprise the enemy. Its quite possibly my favorite stage by far now because it gives me range at those heights. However I noticed that doesn't work well for splat zones since the zones are so high up.
Also I'll say it again, this game is begging for a rookie mode. I would even say only 15 and under are allowed. If they think someone just starting out won't get frustrated and quit they're crazy. Turf wars is basically kill or be killed as well. I think outside of the first week it has been that way.
@jariw: I don't use any rollers, too slow for my liking, but that much ink shouldn't travel that far up a ramp and still kill in 1 hit. Maybe that's more an issue I have w/ the physics than the weapon though. I wonder if some guys at Digital Foundry or someplace could do a study of ink physics in Spalton b/c they do seem to work weirdly on occasion. for the most part I'm really impressed by how it all works, which just makes some things stand out. Not just the roller throwing ink so much farther up hill than most non-charger guns, but the inkzooka only shooting straight ahead and other oddities of the engine which seem to defy logic.

@Spoony_Tech: I think I will really like Flounder Heights once I work my way back into the game - still scarred from the other night. And a shallow "kiddie pool" would be nice, maybe I could get my kids to start playing again, they can't stand it any more, it's just no fun being destroyed like that. It is 1 of the main reasons I bought this game at launch, I figured if we got it later it would be this bad. I guess I should have made my kids play it more.
Sorry for double posting again, I'll try not to triple this time.

@rjejr: My son can still hold his own fairly well but he's also level 23 I believe. A week away from this game is like a month trying to catch up. I will say he's definitely better then me with a variety of weapons. I'll stick to my old trusted one though and learn how to close the gap.
I also almost cringe when I see Aerospray's on my ranked team anymore. For most levels they just can't out range anything. I hardly ever see them anymore in the higher ranks.
@Spoony_Tech: Yeah I'm not a fan Aerosprays on my team; rollers tend to just rofl stomp them. I prefer the Splash-o-matic since it actually aims.
But then again, I've never really liked the Aerospray, so I don't understand it's strengths. That's why I always give players the benefit of the doubt.

So I wanted to try out the Splatoon testfire demo, but I Nintendo didn't tell me till it was too late (Wii U notification). Whoever had the idea to make the demo available only for a few hours a few times over the course of a few days was an idiot. One of the times was even in the middle of the night. It should have just been open for the two days to try out, but nope- if Nintendo wants my money, they should actually let me try it out. Making people plan around a demo because it's only a open for an hour is a terrible idea.
Edit: I got confused about the demo time; I can still try it out, and I will (in an hour and a half). I still stand by my statements about Nintendo just having be open for a few days though, like the free weekends to try a game out that Steam has.

@Jaz007: After you play the demo, I still recommend you get the game. It's REALLY fun! The update made the game a lot better, too. There are a lot more weapon choices, new gear, and stages to play on. I have played A LOT of Splatoon, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon!
Played a few matches of Turf almost everyother match had disconnections.
I had the same problem today, both in Ranked and Turf War. I never had any disconnects myself and my connection felt as good as ever, but there were so many matches that ended with less than 8 players. Wonder if the Testfire or Japan Splatfest might be causing it. At any rate, the problem were much larger than normal today.
I'm starting to think Rainmaker is the most rewarding ranked mode, but also the most complex/difficult because it's so free-form. Like, you can carry the Rainmaker into the darkest reaches of the map if you want to, play extremely conservative, or make a beeline for the podium—and making a beeline is hilariously satisfying when you get a good distance, especially if you manage to get all the way there. On Flounder Heights today, I had the most ridiculous run into the base; I couldn't believe I got it off.
I still haven't decided on which transformer faction to side with; I can't think of much to weigh in for one side or another, and I don't want to decide based on good v. evil because that's too cliche to me.

So I played the demo for two hours. It was pretty good, not great, but pretty good. I had a lot of fun. A large part of that was the fact that I was dominating for the 30-40 min of the demo though. Seriously, I was always best member of the team. I always scored the most, and I had 10-15 kills while the second highest number of kills on my team would be 3-4. I didn't die that much either. Needless to say, after I figured the game out and dominated, my team always won. Usually by a big margin as those 15 kills prevent the enemy from gaining traction lol. Though if I hadn't been really good at it, I probably would've just thought the game was decent. I'll probably get at a price drop just because I love being so good at an online game though lol.
