@ELI-ASH: I tried to win that Saltspray Rainmaker game but the other team was really rockin' it. Blue_Blur in particular was out to get me everytime I even thought about picking up the RM. Not that one should do anything less...I like to bolt with the RM.

@MasterWario: the only time i got splat against blur was when i use the sloshing machine

@MasterWario: What can I say? I wanted the RM! My strategy is to bolt with the RM too. Btw, you're a great sniper! You got me SO many times in Bluefin! XD

@Spoony_Tech: Thanks for the extra games! That last match in Arowana was so funny how we kept splatting each other in the same spot!

@Blue_Blur: No problem, I would've kept going if you wanted to. No pressure play is oh so welcomed. Not that I didn't want to win!

@Blue_Blur: Thank you! I've been working on my sniper play. Although, I think I was the only one with a sniper except for one game. Sniper competition makes everything more difficult. (Yeah, Freeon-Leon used the bamboozler but the range is short so it doesn't have the same pressure as a regular range or even a squiffer. [Of course not saying anything about the bamboozler's meta, Freeon-Leon does great with it and it's great to see someone use it well!])

@MasterWario: Yeah, in fact my biggests threats are charger users

I saw you also used the Splash-o-matic. It's an amazing weapon, I used it in TC and it helped A LOT.

Btw, @Blue_Blur, you're really good with that Slosher Deco.

@Freeon-Leon: I do not know how you get that thing to work in TC, I keep getting creamed when I used it in ranked TC. But otherwise it's one of my favorite weapons! My first main, actually. It's got the speed of the Aerospray, but it's got aim and a little extra distance. Not to mention, when is Suction Bombs a bad idea?

The wiki quote is great: "One for the pros. Not outrageously powerful, but highly accurate. This weapon really comes into its own in the hands of someone with good aim."

@MasterWario: While it's an amazing shooter, I use it mostly for the suction bombs. In TC the enemy needs to ride to tower so it's usually kind of crowded around it. The suction bombs (and bomb rush) help a lot in those cases. Also my inkling's gear is made for that playstyle (and she looks so cool).

@VeeFlamesNL I'd assume so. I'm in most of the holidays, so that's two people to play private battles.

Also, I'm free past 1:30pm GMT today, if anyone wants to squad/private battle/friendsturfwar battle (Which I haven't even tried yet), just @ me. I can't promise any wins, unless it's rainmaker, where I can promise a few. XD

Im thinking of learning chargers tomorrow. Whats a good one to start off with?

All you darn chargers last night lol. If I see a good charger in the other team I make it my job to hunt them down. I believe it was the Mall last night with 2 of you on the other team. It took me till the end to take both of you out but it was so worth it!

@Spoony_Tech: and I love it when my target comes to me as I don't have to waste time spotting them.

@Jazzer94: You may get me more times then I get you (5-1) but that one can mean the difference from winning and losing in certain modes. Last night it meant winning since my team couldn't get the tower far enough with both of them perched on opposite ends in the Mall. Once I took them out we get the tower far enough to win! I think I went 4-9 that match but it was worth it!

Are you guys playing Private Battles today? I should be able to make it today.

@Spoony_Tech: Fair enough, I only really lose to a 3K on mall as flanking is just way to obvious.

@VeeFlamesNL: I'm down for that! Same time as yesterday, 8 pm central?

@Freeon-Leon: Thanks for the compliment! You're great with the Splash-O-Matic and the Bamboo sniper weapon (I can say the real name, but can't spell it!) XD A lot of people underestimate that sniper rifle, but you make it a weapon to fear for sure!

hi, all. i'm looking to get into squad battles and am looking for a couple of other semi-regular people to play with. i'm currently level 16 and have gotten to rank C+ (currently rank C though). i like to experiment with different weapons, but generally go for regular guns (i.e. not into sniping and not into roller/inkbrush). i'm a decent player, but not looking to be super competitive. let me know if you're interested in playing some matches and see if we gel. best times for me are weekends late morning to early afternoon EST, but i'm flexible. i'm assuming we'd voice chat over skype while playing. my NNID is greilmercs if you want to get in touch. cheers.

@Spoony_Tech: I was one of those chargers. That game was so annoying, I got a ton of splats but you guys just kept getting on the freakin' tower. And then yeah, you got me from behind and that was just it. You gotta give props to your defense though, because we got kicked off the tower almost immediately everytime. Blasters and Buckets are a pain because you can't hide behind the tower pillar like you can against every other weapon (although blocking chargers is finicky).

@ELI-ASH: I would recommend the standard Splat Charger, it's a nice middle for range and charge time, and splat bombs are always useful. Also I recommend at least two damage-ups so you don't have to charge all the way to splat people. But give the Squiffer and Eliter a try, you may like the playstyle better.

@Freeon-Leon: I guess you just don't have as much issues getting swamped by the longer range weapons in TC. It always feels like they're after me with a vengeance. Or most likely it's my strategy...I do remember the bombs being very useful but I just couldn't help close out games.

So i started an alt account just unlocked the splat charger and a few turf matches in i got 10 splats in a single match. I think im off to a good start. ^_^ It was in Mahi mahi the enemy became fearful of even going past their starting platform XD
