To whom it may interest: i've spotted a large-ish number of all three Splatoon amiibo at a toy shop here in the Netherlands. So i'm guessing the restock took place all over Europe and not just the UK. I could not resist the temptation and bought a complete set.

@shani: Yes, I'm serious. I don't bother reading the stats for each weappn but Tentatek Splattershot seems to powerful even when there's no Attack ups attached to it. Maybe it's not OP but it sure looks like it to me.
@Freeon-Leon: The Tentatek Splattershot is just the regular Splattershot with a different Sub and Special weapon (it took me a while to notice that myself). So by your logic, the first weapon you can buy in the game is OP, which it isn't.

@Freeon-Leon: Nope, the Tentatek is not OP. This is coming from a Tentatek Splattershot main! I'm very good with it, but I can't deny the number of times I thought I could be using a better weapon.
The Tentatek Splattershot is a fairly mid-range weapon, not that powerful in terms of damage, and comes equipped with the Inkzooka and Suction Bombs. Not something that's very threatening, IMO.
I will continue to say that Blasters are OP, though. On top of being powerful weapons, there's just no escaping their paths once you engage in their gunfire. It's crazy...
@DreamyViridi: It's not "by my logic", just and observation. I didn't mention the normal Splattershot because barely anyone uses it, maybe the combination of stats, sub and special make the Tentatek Splattershot look OP
@Freeon-Leon: That's fair. It may seem overpowered, especially considering how common it is, but I don't think it's actually OP though. I get splatted by them often but I think that's more due to the opponents (and/or the internet connection depending) than the weapon they're using.

@VeeFlamesNL: Blasters have a lot of flaws, though. They don't ink much, and they're the only weapon that doesn't go any farther when you're up higher. Also, get up right next to them, and they almost can't do anything.
@Freeon-Leon: How can you claim it's OP if you even haven't taken the time to look at the stats? I mean, they're right there at the shop or at the screen where you choose your gear. Honestly, if you're too lazy for that, than don't make some unfunded claims. Or to go even further: You can't say one weapon is OP without having tested all the weapon types thoroughly. That's like saying "I'm the best at XY" while ignoring everyone else in the world who also does XY. Or claiming that a Mini is the most powerful car in the world and completely ignoring all the sports cars, offroad cars etc. (every one of those car classes have their strengths and weaknesses).
Anyway, trust me, the Splattershot is far away from being OP. It's just the most "standard" weapon because every aspect of it is average. It's not even "powerful", as you described it. There are many weapons that kill with less shots. Besides, every weapon also has characteristics that you don't see in the shop. Like ink usage, weight etc. Every weapon in Splatoon has its weak spots.
@DreamyViridi: It's not "by my logic", just and observation. I didn't mention the normal Splattershot because barely anyone uses it, maybe the combination of stats, sub and special make the Tentatek Splattershot look OP
Lol how can you say that? Have you collected data from thousands of matches? In my opinion, the regular Splattershot is way better than the Tentatek version.

Well, that really depends. You don't need to ink the ground in Ranked battles, for example. Also, I guess a skilled player can eliminate some flaws of the blasters by using his sub and special effectively or moving really smart/fast. But you're right, a skilled player can also just quickly swim around them and splat them from behind. Or even swim around them multiple times just to confuse them. I really enjoy doing that. The same applies for rollers, but of course they're more dangerous on close range.
In my opinion, if anything is OP in Splatoon, it's the one-shot-kill blasters, the Bubbler and the Gold Dynamo Roller (range is way too high for a melee weapon).
@shani: Get off my back dude, I'm not stating facts and you guys have been clear about it, I GET IT. I'm basing my observation on the hundreds of matches I've had. Don't take it too personally.
@Freeon-Leon: Sorry, I didn't mean to sound personal. I was just so baffled how someone could state such a thing without checking the facts, that's all. No hard feelings.
And I usually just like discussing (without getting personal, I mean), because Splatoon has so many small details so talk about. But the most important thing is that everyone has fun with this game.
@shani: I know there are more than the stats we see in the shop. But sometimes I've being splatted with a Tentatek Splattershot faster than with a .96 Gal or a Aerospray, wich sometimes doesn't feel right. Latency issues could have something to do with it.
Btw, I've used many weapons (not all of them). Though I try to focus in chargers (New Squiffer, MK II) and Suction Bombs (Splash-o-matic).
@Freeon-Leon: It could be either that or maybe they were just shooting more/less accurate with those weapons. Also, if you're already covered in enemy ink a bit, it affects how many shots are needed to be splatted. But latency is also a totally possible explanation. I often splat the enemy and one second after that I also die because apparently he shot me too. I hate that.
Oh yeah and also (something I wasn't aware of in the first months or so), the weapons differ in how they shoot their ink, I mean like more straight-forward shots so that you have to aim really precisely or does the ink spread a bit. Because of this, some shots may only inflict minor damage (also testable at the shooting range) if they don't hit the target directly.
Interesting, I'm almost the opposite. I mostly avoid using Suction bombs because of their ink usage (and because they are not in a set with my favourite weapons). But I know they deal a lot of damage, so they can be a powerful tool in battle. Especially with a bomb rush, I think I would use them that way if they were bundled with a weapon I like. I also almost never use chargers (have tried them out a bit, but I don't like standing around) except for the Splatlings. I still want to master those someday when I'm bored with everything else and need new goals in Splatoon.
I use weapons like Dual Squelcher, Splattershot Pro, Splattershot (though only the one with burst bomb rush), Zapper, Aerospray and Jet Squelcher. Sometimes I also use the sloshers just for fun. Other than that, I don't like to play with rollers, Snipers and Blasters. Still don't know what to think of the Brushes. They're not as annoying as the rollers, but still a melee weapon.
And my favourite bomb is the burst bomb, because it uses little ink and you can throw four of them (and splat the enemy with two) with one full ink tank. Besides, it's relatively easy to evade a suction or splat bomb before it detonates (provided you see it early enough). But the Burst Bombs explode on impact, so there's no evading that. Other than that, I use Point Sensors and beacons as a sub or just whatever my weapon is offering me.
