@DiscoGentleman Probably not until months later when/if another game gets that kind of treatment. Fatal Frame, Xenoblade, and FE finally appear to be possible to discuss with the most said about censorship being "I just put the undub on my game" or something about Loadiine.

Recently finished my second play through of the game which will be my last until the NA release. I did keep my stats from my normal playthrough and went through it all in hard mode. I mainly just went through each chapter as quick as I could, but also went through all available requests and side quests.
Until the final chapter, most enemies were quick work for me, but all of the side quests and requests ended up pushing my second playthrough to about 40 hours. (First was 100, but average seems to be around 70)
Got 285 play records out of 313, some of them require multiple playthroughs and others just have various circumstances for obtaining them. They do have hints relating to what some play records are about, but I'm not completely sure about a few.

Considering the price for all the DLC adds up to 15 euro, the price for the Fortissimo edition really isn't too bad.

@Pahvi they are pretty much just achievements you can get and so a little notification will show up in the corner when you get one. For a simple one, you get one just for winning with a certain character.

There are also a total of 30 trophies in the game, but these ones tend to be a bit more difficult to get than play records. IIRC, each main character can get one for obtaining all of their Radiant Unity skills (or it was making all Carnages, but I kind of forget) and there are also ones based on some dungeons as well. I believe I got them from using the dungeon's gimmicks a certain amount of time. (Such as the large dresses you use to maneuver through in the 106 building)

There is also a hidden trophy, but I'm not completely sure how to get it. I do have a guess as to how it is obtained, but that kind of involves spoilers.

@Luna_110 Yes, well, that's on Nintendo. When something gets censored and people know about it, they are going to talk about it. Especially when it's as extensive as the censorship in TMS.

It also has the amusing side-effect of drawing far more attention to the "offensive" aspects of the game than if Nintendo had just left them alone. I believe it's called the "Streisand Effect."

It's not just censorship. It's the lazy translation. It's the DLC that should be on the disc.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE - Tokyo Millennium Collection (Nintendo, €1.99 / £1.79)
Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE - Mirage Hunter (EXP) (Nintendo, €1.99 / £1.79)
Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE - Mirage Hunter (Mastery) (Nintendo, €1.99 / £1.79)
Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE - Mirage Hunter (Savage Festival) (Nintendo, €1.99 / £1.79)
Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE - 3 Support Quest Set (Nintendo, €4.99 / £4.49)
Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE - Atlus Collaboration Costume Set (Nintendo, €1.99 / £1.79)

Disgraceful! €15 of DLC before the game is even out.

Both the Fortissimo Edition and Mario & Sonic 2016 Olympics have been dispatched from Nintendo UK Online Store! After Thursday I guess this'll be it for Nintendo stuff until Color Splash though

...Half of those are bonus quests specifically designed to give players exp and monetary bonuses to make the game easier (and by easier, I mean "Oh hey, I can beat this boss with my eyes closed no!...and there's the credits!"). It's essentially a lazy tax, and have made up the majority of Atlus' DLC offerings since Etrian Odyssey IV.

The other half are fanservice costumes. While I won't say that such things shouldn't be included from the start, are you really going to miss not being able to dress your characters up in beachwear, or participate in a fashion show with Santa and French Maid costumes? The crossover costume set is probably the only one that might be worthwhile, as well as appropriate, seeing as they're actually stuff from other Atlus games. I mean, I personally wouldn't pay $2 for these, but at worst that makes it a missed opportunity, IMO.

@CanisWolfred I don't know if it will be included with the NA/Europe version, but the crossover ones were included with all first copies of the game, physical or digital, in Japan.
But yeah the rest were all DLC.

Reviews should be out tomorrow. I can't remember the time that the embargo usually lifts at.

@CanisWolfred I'll miss out because the Fortissimo Edition isn't available anywhere to buy.

Yeah, that'd be a d**k move, in that light. I'll have to check on that...

@SLIGEACH_EIRE They'll be available as normal DLC, unless you mean you'd get a deal if you got the Fortissimo edition. I thought that was $20 (or whatever Euro/GBP equivalent is) more? But I guess you do get other nifty stuff along with it...

I think what could help this games review scores is that because it's a niche, lengthy game it won't get covered by a huge amount of sites. It could just be mostly Nintendo sites and fans of the genre. Like if you look at Star Fox Zero, that has 80 qualified Metacritic reviews and a tonne of others that didn't qualify due to lack of a numerical score. There's no way Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE will have reviews approaching anywhere near that number.

Going by previous Nintendo games, I expect the review embargo will be lifted at 4 PM Irish/UK time.

...that only serves to reveal a crippling flaw in Metacritics. It's certainly not going to affect the game itself, and I doubt there are a lot of people who will be on the fence about a game that wears its insanity on its petticoat...

It seems Atlus has done it again. Too bad it won't sell enough to get any interest and make a sequel. I need to do my part even if I'm not ready to play it yet.

Atlus is one of the most consistently excellent developers in the industry.

Have they developed a game that was even just mediocre in the last ten years? Everything I've played has been superb.
