Where is a good place to sell some of my older games?

Ebay. Unless you have a retro game store in your town.

And chances are you'll still be better off with eBay. :/

Last time I tried to sell stuff on eBay I never got paid for it and then eBay got mad at me for not sending it.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Craigslist then?

Is Killer Instict Gold any good? I saw it at a shop last week, I'm thinking of picking it up if it's still there...

I rather like it. I was a huge fan of the original back in the day, but after picking up Gold on Ebay and playing both of them again I vastly prefer Gold. Feels a lot smoother, and more like a legit fighting game. Love the music, too.

Good to know. I see it at a mall for $35, I might pick it up...or look on eBay...coulda sworn I saw a deal 3 weeks ago for less than $25 Buy-It-Now...

I was wondering if anyone knows of any good retro gaming sites kinda like Nintendolife but focuses more on the older consoles. I do enjoy NL but as of late I have been finding myself playing and purchasing alot more of the older consoles games so naturally I am interested in discussing retro stuff with other people basically somewhere where I can get a retro gaming fix.

I was gonna ask the same thing, Tasuki. Only two sites I've been two are VC-Reviews and Racketboy (and Sega-16, but they're more specialized). The former doesn't exist anymore (not even the old forum, vc-forums.com), and the latter I'm not so sure about. It seems like a site that's long past its prime, so to speak...

I did a Google search but I didn't find anything that struck me. I do know we have a small retro group here @Waveboy @the_shpydar @Ogo and there knowledge is great but I am looking for a whole site like that. Places that I can get varied opinions, ideas where I can go retro shopping etc.

I'm thinking about playing through some of the Gamecube games I've never played before. My question is: should I start with Super Mario Sunshine or Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door?

Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)

Ok I doubt I will get an answer here but I will ask it anyway.

I am thinking of getting one of the Joe Montana games on the Genesis but I am not sure which one. Anyone have suggestions?

Anyone know if Ghouls 'n' Ghosts for the Sega Genesis is any good? It doesn't seem that expensive, and I don't see it coming to the Wii U VC any time soon...

I'm going to play Normal/Classic mode, but I was wondering if Arrange mode is also worth tackling?

I've heard the visuals are a bit updated, simon's a little quicker, there's no fall back when getting hit(bummer!), soundtrack has been completely remixed ect ect. P

Anyhoo! Dracula X (SNES) looks to be the only other 2DVania game that I have left to play. sniffles* There's always the MetroidVania series....I've beaten Dawn of sorrow(My personal favorite) and Symphony of the Night. Which leaves me with the 3 GBA games, along with Portrait of Ruin and Order of Eclesia.

Have you played Rondo of Blood yet? Dracula X is a gimped version of that game.

Also, enjoy OoE. It's definitely one of my top 3 Castlevania games, and a nice change of pace from the Metroidvania style.

Currently Playing: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond (NS2); Corpse Factory (PC)

It's an obvious observation to make, today of all days, but Rare Replay has made me appreciate just how excellent Banjo Kazooie truly is.

@nacho_chicken: Yes indeed.

I would recommend getting Cave Story and its summed up in five words. Its free and its perfect.

Got Phantasy star 3 couple of months ago on Steam.......and I regret getting it. I still feel like using a guide for both dungeons and worlds because of those random encounters being too much and the way this game's pacing works is horrendous. There is no teleportation centers like in the previous one. Atleast in the previous game, the atmosphere and the world was engaging. This one isn't. Lastly, the story is bland. No sense of progression, lack of personality and just about everything in the game doesn't feel like a phantasy star game.

I'm thinking about getting Phantasy Star 4 and I got some questions. Is the random encounters as bad as the previous two? Are the dungeons that bad that would force me to use the map? Or is it the ultimate phantasy star game ever?
